Best STL bread so far. Great customer service. We got treated like a regular even though we were new. Bread guy Jonathan was very knowledgeable. The ciabatta is bomb and lovingly selected products/meats/sauces are arranged neatly.

Customer Service is the best! You have to get a fresh baguette. The cheese of the month club is delicious. The fresh humus is so good. Really, everything is yummy. My sister or I have been here once a week now for the past several weeks. The tastings they have available on the weekend are great. This is just an all-around great neighborhood spot.

Excellent gourmet grocer: good stock and good service. I parked out front on a Saturday and was squinting at a really weathered old parking meter, trying to decipher whether I needed to feed it or not, when one of the staff came out to clarify, "don't worry about the meter, no need to pay." So thoughtful!
A very well curated selection of tinned fish, chocolate, savory ingredients, and snacks. Cheese selection was solid too, and the cheesemonger on duty had a EXCELLENT knowledge of the wares. He was able to explain sources and comparative flavor profiles, and if course was happy to provide samples.
Went on a Saturday and enjoyed a wine tasting as well as a delicious fresh biscuit with butter and jam.

7 years since I found this spot, and can confirm that nothing has changed in the best way - they've enhanced their offerings further as their business has expanded. The sandwiches are phenomenal, all served on their house made bread with house smoked meats. The wine & beer selection is unique, varied, and accessible to all. They have a variety of NA options and spirits as well. The staff goes above and beyond to help you find whatever you may need. And the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. Will continue to shop here for years to come.
