I contacted Sutherlands to see if they had any collard greens available in their lawn Park lawn and garden department and the representative who answered the phone name Amy told me they did not and when I asked to still be transferred to law and Garden because my grandmother was the one going up there who is 76 years old and I just wanted to make sure what other vegetables they had available. She said there was no one to take the call because the person was at lunch and she didn’t have anyone there to answer the phone or relieve her so she refused to transfer me to that department and was very nonchalant about it that was very bad customer service being that my grandmother is a early woman you would think she will be willing to help a little bit more

Nice place and great price. I bought an Echo Blower 2520 today at Sutherlands Lawn & Garden. A young guy was able to help me out with my purchase. He was knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate your help bro. You provided excellent customer service for me. Lady at the cashier was kind. Handy tools are very close home. I will come back for sure.

We took our Bad Boy Mower in for a damaged blade and we were blown away about the service we received from Jake, who replaced our blades and went over and beyond to look over mower. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Great customers service!

We manage over 100 properties and I notice the clothes out tables at your store. I called my boss header come down and the lady that works in the paint department was absolutely rude had a horrible attitude so I went to the front of the store and was talking to the manager about it and some other heavy set lady, but it ended our conversation and told me that she didn't appreciate how. One star too many! Sutherlands has lost my business because Sara the store manager was intentionally rude to me; plain and simple. Had she the professionalism to stand up and meet a loyal customer at the counter there'd be no poor review. I purchased a piece of furniture and set up its' delivery(this was not going to my home) on a subsequent visit. Spoke to 4 store associates about delivery and it was never mentioned that the delivery was drop off only. I figured price ($50) was determined by 7 mile distance. Price was never a concern, I pay quoted prices to have things delivered and tip the guys when it's done. Driver calls and we agree I'd be there in 30 minutes to accept delivery. Arrival and driver wants to drop it in driveway and leave, which was not prudent. On my way to an appointment I had no time to find and arrange for help and could not leave it unattended. I told the driver that I don't fault him. I asked him to contact store so I could work something out and he would not. He said it wasn't like they were going to send anyone to assist and as far as they're concerned he made delivery whether he unloads or not. Said to me, "people tell me all the time" they weren't informed it was drop off only. Fast forward several minutes and I'm on the phone with Sara who (having been informed by then) rudely says it was up to me to ask details of delivery and that the first money is lost and to come out again there's no break on what I was completely prepared to pay had any of the store associates asked delivery details. Her words to a customer discussing his dilemma with a $300 sale being delivered were spoken in an unnecessary and insultingly curt tone. While upset with the situation I had not spoken insultingly, curt, profane or threatening to her or the driver. I wanted it delivered and didn't want to pay a double delivery fee which is what I'd be doing including the trip that I was not aware was unacceptable until it arrived. Either it is as Sara rudely stated that it's the customers responsibility to look among numerous signs on promo's specials and assorted information to educate themselves on what store policy is or rather what the delivery driver says; this happens regularly as it is not discussed upfront. Here's where the new and absurd 2023 unAmerican animosity reached its' peak in what I considered my local store. Sara made the "conscious choice" to sit 20 feet away from the counter and ignore me when I arrived for my refund although she recognized that I'm a regular shopper. That effort on her part, to be purposefully and personally rude to me warranted this review by a lifelong Sutherlands customer. Correction, past customer; keep my $50 rude lady because the $30-40 monthly I've spent for decades at Sutherlands on hardware and dog treats doesn't mind going elsewhere.

The only person with customer service skills is Rachel. PSA...I bought a COMMERCIAL GRADE ECHO CHAINSAW. AFTER USING IT ABOUT 20 minutes they said to retighten so we did possibly to tight but I look followed the directions of the mechanic shop. The chain popped off and ruined the chain and the safety bar. THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK, WILL NOT EXCHANGE IT, OR PUT IT IN Store credit! Now something that is commercial should not be able to be completely destroyed by one chain coming off. The store manager was rude and disrespectful and the employees followed suite. There return policy and procedure is BEYOND TERRIBLE. I will not be using them againDon't trust what they say get it writing. Please do not let them scam you. They acted like they did me for charging me more to, put a new chain on it and still never we are sorry this happened. Absolutely No remorse and no customer service skills at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend I was helping with some gardening and yard work had to get some top soil and dirt. Reasonably priced and excellent customer service from a very friendly fellow outside that even loaded the bags into the car for us....thanks again!!!
