“I've read all the negative comments about the Raytown UPS Store and its staff, and frankly, I'm in disbelief. As a Black woman with deep roots in this country—my family lineage dating back to the 1800s—I've been doing business with this Postmaster and her staff for over four years. Not once have I experienced any of the racist behavior being alleged, nor have I witnessed it directed at other Black customers.
Until I see it for myself—or hear it directly from the Black business owner next door, who interacts with her regularly—I'm calling this what it looks like to me: baseless and misleading.”

“I was very happy with the customer service I received at the FedEx Office in Independence on Noland Road. I had a special item that needed to be shipped and I had not boxed it. Reba Hodges, the store manager, saw that I was in need of help and jumped into action. She immediately got to work cutting a box to size for my oddly shaped item. She made sure that it was padded well to help prevent potential damage during shipping and taped it up so it wouldn’t come undone during transport. I wasn’t able to access the shipping label from my phone and she was very patient with me while I had my son access it from home and email it over to the store. At the end of the transaction I inadvertently left something on the counter when I left and she promptly called me to tell me I had left it. Kudos to Reba Hodges for her exemplary customer service skills.”

“How about this: “I had an exceptional experience at the UPS Store thanks to Eric Corp. He went above and beyond to assist us as a notary, staying late and even guiding us through typing out our handwritten documents on our phones. When our phones were running low on battery, he even recommended we visit the Apple Store and waited for us to return. Eric’s helpfulness and kindness made this visit truly memorable.”
“I worked with Charlie and her staff on a very special memorial project. From start to finish Charlie went beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. The final results were exactly what I wanted. I messed up on the sizing and Charlie still fixed it for me. Her patience and understanding are outstanding and I'm so grateful. If I ever need anything else printed, I'll definitely be back to that location. Charlie went above and beyond; you just don't get that these days.

“At first I was upset about being charged a dollar and some change to print my labels while shipping a 40 pound and 10 pound package…..but then I remembered these stores are privately owned franchises. Being a business owner for 17 years I understand you must cover expenses as a small business owner. Good service by the staff here and glad to pay for printing the labels.”

“December 2nd my package of new bank checks were delivered to the wrong address. I went in the the post office first thing December 3rd - they confirmed the incorrect delivery and sent a supervisor to retrieve the package. I had my checks by 10:30 am. Thanks so much.”
“Nice people, fast loading, had to blind side back a 53' trailer into the dock. Parking spaces are opposite the docks for cars that were in the way. Once in the dock the nose of your semi will block the drive.”

“We went "walk in" to get Passport renewed for my daughter, All post offices in Bay Area need Appointment, we had filled online application, he did a great job to complete our process within 10 minutes. Customers/applicants please fill your online application, have photos & copies of documents for expedite the process.Carry debit card, cheque or cash. Hope this helps.BTW for adult applicants who doesn't have appointments, please visit post office on Lawrence & Arques, They allow walk-ins . Thank you.”

I had a truly excellent experience at the FedEx Shipping Center on Front Street in KCMO, thanks to a representative named Eric B. I came in needing help with shipping a package and wasn’t sure what size box I needed. Eric took the time to personally look for a small box that would work, and he was incredibly patient, polite, and professional throughout the process.
Even when a line of customers came in behind me, Eric never rushed me or made me feel like a burden. He stayed focused on helping me and made sure everything was taken care of correctly. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it really stood out.

We called them and the man on the phone, I’m sorry I forgot your name, told us he would make a note AND send an email to the warehouse to flag it and return to their office. He called us today to tell them it rerouted back to them and that we could pick it up or he’d send it to the right address. What a beautiful soul!!!!”
