Telle Tire & Auto Centers are well known in the St. Louis area, but are a newcomer to the Kansas City area. I used to get my auto work done at KC Complete, but Telle bought them out a while ago. At first I wasn't sure how the new company would be, but I have since had my car at Telle several times and each time they do fantastic work.
I took my car to the Raytown location for the first time since it opened, as it is the nearest to my home, and just like my experience at the other locations, they were fast, friendly and got me out the door feeling good about the service I received. The previous auto shop at this location was terrible, but thankfully they are no more. Telle has an excellent reputation in the STL area for a reason, they do fantastic work, and they are bringing that hard earned reputation to the KC area and we are better off for it.

Service was immediately available and a diagnosis of an ‘04 VW that wouldn’t start was made for a new fuel pump - and the car was soon up and running again and running fine. I did need to decline a couple of services to keep the cost reasonable. I found the overall cost though for the completed service to be comparable to other auto repair service centers.

Woke up to a flat tire before work. Happy Monday to me. Made my way to Telle tires. Great customer service, quick service and good pricing. Turns out my tire had three nails in it.

It was super easy to make an appointment they were very friendly. I even got a reminder text the day before. any rides they were prompt, courteous, got us in and out. I highly recommend them, and I will definitely be returning.

Long story short, if a mechanic is going to require a repair, or fail a vehicle on inspection, then they should be able to give you an explanation. When I asked for an explanation, the person held up their phone and verbally googled the problem instead of explaining to me what the actual issue was. When I went to what appeared to be a supervisor, he just said that the other guy was trained, ask him.
Clean waiting room, friendly staff, but I would be wary.

$3k was the estimate to bring the van up to inspection level. went to another inspection and they said all i needed was a flex extension for the muffler >> cost of $280. why would i pay $3k for a van that isn't worth $2k?
