“Absolutely great service. Love to support local.small business that has been around a long time. Took our mower and weed eater in for a tune-up, and he got it all done in less than 3 days. It is cash or check only, which I have no problem with at all, but just be aware to bring it with you.”

I have been to this location on several times as well as my father. He in an expert Gardner and I am a certified professional Landscape Designer with 10+ years in the industry. I love the bird plant seeds that this location has to offer. However the conversation with the staff is strained and come with a lot of effort as they seem to not really care to discuss the particulars of certain questions regarding their selections.
I am not sure if this is a post-covid issue but it is not acceptable and needs to be addressed. I asked a woman who I was ordering seeds from various questions on some wild flower shade mix. I asked her what the shade time was for the and she acted abrasive and bothersome at the question.
I asked several other questions and received the same response which led me to finish my transaction and leave the store. The next time I think about visiting this store I will consider whether I want to experience poor customer service again.
Parking can be a bit of a bother on the weekends but is usually not an issue if you know the location and are familiar with its surroundings.
The price of items in this location are a bit high and may be mass produced. I mention this because I have found several of the items located here at nearly 25% cheaper at other locations. This may be due to the locations overhead. For the most part I would say that the price can seem high for some things and fairly reasonable for others. Do your market research if money is a priority.
One last thing that I want to bring up is the condition of the floors and the how the transitions from one room to the next can be precarious so use caution if you have mobility issues.”
“We just had our 2012 Toyota Prius C serviced at Sallas Auto Repair and had a MARVELOUS experience! From start to finish, it was a true pleasure dealing with everyone on staff.
We received estimates from our usual shop (that does not specialize in Toyotas) and contacted Sallas for a second opinion. Jeramiah handled our case and was able to provide a very reasonable estimate for the work. He was friendly, patient with our questions, and very knowledgeable regarding the amount of labor and parts needed to complete the repairs.
Scheduling our appointment was super easy; I simply sent Jeramiah an email regarding our best available days and times, and we were able to settle on a good date within the week.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and check-in was fast and efficient. The team wasn't sure how long the repairs would take, but promised to contact us as soon as possible with an approximate pick-up time. Sure enough, Jeramiah called within 4 hours to let us know all the repairs were done and they were finishing up the alignment process. He carefully and fully explained the work done at that time. He called again (within 30 minutes) once the car was ready for pick-up and gave us a final review of the vehicle's performance. We appreciate the fast service, especially given the extent of the work!
When we arrived to pick up the car, Kelly assisted us in check-out. She was friendly and efficient and very gracious. We were able to pay with a personal check (not always the case at car shops), which we appreciated. The cost ended up being competitive or better than other auto shops we'd researched.
We're glad that AAA has given their stamp of approval to Sallas Auto Repair. They are a quick, friendly, professional, and clean shop, and deserve the recognition. Jeramiah even took the time to contact us after the fact to let us know the AAA discount had been applied to our account. “This is the best place for all your grain and feed needs. They have everything from dog toys and harnesses to chicken food to bird feeders and bird seed. Everyone is so friendly and inclusive of all people. I highly recommend this store which has been family owned and operated for its sixth generation and almost one hundred years.”

“Awesome selection of plants - more varieties of herbs than I have seen in one place before, plus tons of annuals, perennials, houseplants, and accessories, I especially like the signs they have for the majority of the plants so you know the light and soil conditions, size, whether a plant is typically easy to care for. “We ordered 1 ton of the rainbow river rock here, for delivery. Overall, the experience was nice. The staff we worked with were knowledgeable and very kind. They were able to deliver on the next business day, and they showed up on time with the correct rocks!
We also picked up 20 of their Variegated Big Liriope. They were nice and taken care of.
I would recommend them for rocks / plants!”
“They always have what I needed at reasonable prices and idk if it was the manager or the owner, all I remember about him was his iPhone had twitter notifications like every 5 seconds which was kinda funny lol. He was extremely helpful though. He stands at the front door and helps people as soon as they come in the door. A huge 180 from big box hardware stores where I can never find an employee.”

“The home depot took my return fairly quickly, there wasn't a long line. Everyone tried their best to be helpful. I spotted some dying plants and wondered if I could take them, and the staff were very professional in saying no. Apparently both she and I would get in trouble if I would take something like that. Two of their tools aisles are under construction (?) or it seemed like it was blocked off for some reason. I remember once I came in here looking for an extra large box, and they actually let me take it as well. Overall would recommend this Home Depot location.”
“There was a mixup with my online order so when I returned my items and received an exchange, the assistant manager, Jerome Pyburn, which is what’s on my paperwork was very friendly and accommodating. He Corrected the mixup which ended up being my fault.

“We got to the Kids DIY in Lee’s Summit a little late today and Dylan went above and beyond to help us out. They were out of kits, but he took the extra effort to find some older kits for us. My kids had such a good time building it. Had we left empty handed, I wouldn’t have even cared because of the kindness he showed and the effort he put forth. “Used these guys through "Mulch Smart" (Grandview) May 2023, where they delivered & installed 1 yard of dirt & 5 yards of cedar mulch. They did a good job & communicated pretty well. Reasonable price for the material. The quality of the cedar mulch was the best I had seen recently. The only negatives that I have is there was probably at least a yard too much mulch estimated for the job, and some of the smaller plants in the landscape beds were covered by mulch. I dug them out afterwards and no harm done. I would use them again.”
