“Very helpful employees and they let you take your time, no pressure at all. They have a lot in stock. Unfortunately, I had to return my recliner because I was having shoulder and back pain, they offer a 10 day window to return certain products, if in new condition, if for any reason it does not work out. I do not know full policy, so please check before you purchase. I felt SO bad that I had to return the chair because these people price-matched and went out of their way to assist me and then made the return process easier than I expected. I am a bit afraid to buy another recliner because I have neurological issues (and it is NOT because of the store experience)Will take my time and if and when I buy another recliner, I will purchase here, again.I honestly got the best service in any furniture store, EVER. “I have been a repeat customer of Crowley Furniture several times now. I don't know if our salesperson was being extremely pushy because that is the way she is, or if it is because Crowley may be pushing her to be pushy, but when she approached us when we walked in, we told her we were just looking, but if we needed her, we would come find her. She said ok and went away (or so we thought) the first time we sat down in one of the furniture groupings, and here she comes, "oh that's a nice piece blah blah blah , it can come in many different fabrics and clolors, blah blah blah. Can I write this up for you"?No thanks we are just looking, we'll come find you if we need you.She did this with every grouping we went to. We finally just walked around with us because we were tired of trying to shoo her away.Once we found what we needed, she went up to the counter to write up our ticket. I excused myself to go use the restroom, when I came back, I told her "We have an account already open with you."Her reply was "So you don't want to put it on a major credit card to save paying tax"?Since I was just returning to the conversation after using the restroom, I turned to my husband and said "have you two already discussed how we were going to pay this"?He said "No".Then the Salesperson spoke up "Remember I told you about it when you first walked in"?First of all, I wasn't paying attention to anything she said when we first walked in because we clearly told her we didn't need her help at that time.I almost got up and walked out.All I have to say is, if we come back in the future and are hovered over we will not be purchasing from you again.”

“This was the first time I've been to this one. I've been to the one in St Louis once and was HUGELY IMPRESSED.For the size of this one I'm pretty impressed as well.I plan on going back to this one more often. It's a lot closer than St Louis. A little bit more expensive. But makes up for it in distance. I would actually LOVE to see this one expand a little into the space next to it and put in a refrigerated and frozen section. Right now they are so limited in how much food you can actually get from all around the World not to mention how much from each country 1.One very nice touch was that they had Coffee for you to sample when you first walked in. You just help yourself.Another difference between the two stores is this one has furniture.I'm not sure if I was unable to notice due to the Christmas merchandise or due to the overall size being smaller, but in St Louis they dedicated aisles to Countries. Only combining the aisles by separating them down the middle and if needed for a smaller place, from middle to end on one side... I hope I made that make sense. Then they also section off the Refrigerated and Frozen Departments by Country too so you can find what you are looking for by Country rather than by Product.I'd also like to say I LOVED the Tea they offered at the back of the store as a Free Sample, like the Coffee upon entering. It was really good.???”

“This is one of my favorite ReStores to go to. It's not at large as some others, but it still manages to have a large selection of quality items. The employees have always been kind and helpful to me and I can usually find just what I'm looking for (and even some things I didn't plan on getting!!). They price things fairly and accurately (I've been to other ReStores that feel overpriced) and always have a deal going on. Highly recommend.”

“A group of friends and I were walking through the Crossroads during First Fridays, trying to scope out another under-the-radar gallery...you know, one that wasn't so crowded and was more likely to provide us with free beer. Instead, we stumbled upon Deadleaf Designs, a killer local carpentry shop that specializes in eco-friendly production methods. Their products range from as small as a keychain to as large as completely custom built-in cabinetry. In between, they have some of the coolest furniture I've seen. The fact that it's made in Kansas City? It makes it even better! I would describe the aesthetic of Deadleaf Designs as a modern take on reclaimed barn wood. They're big on repurposing scrap woods from a variety of trees with a whole range of stains. They seem to take this rule and apply it in different manners, so their work can either look either hyper-structured or organic. Every piece is completely unique, which I can get behind. While not outrageously priced, these pieces are certainly not discount furniture. However, they do have many smaller items that can bring the same aesthetic without breaking the bank. They have a great line of mirrors, and a pretty dang unique key rack as well. I personally own one of their wine racks. A single piece of reclaimed barn wood, rough at the edges, this piece is deceptively simple. It is absolutely a statement piece in my condo, and virtually every guest I have entertained has commented on it. I love Deadleaf Designs, and I hope they have a long and successful career here in KC. Oh, and when we stumbled into their showroom that first night? They totally gave me a beer.”
