I deposited a check from the US Dept of Treasury via mobile app. Upon trying to check my balance, I got an error message that my account was on hold and that I needed to contact the institution. Upon doing so, I was told the check was flagged for fraud. I was asked why I was receiving a check instead of direct deposit, how I planned on using the funds and other ridiculous questions. It wasn't until the second call that I was told that I could submit documents to possibly expedite the situation. I did so and the "case" hadn't been touched since. I was recently terminated from employment and withdrew my 401K due to financial stress and I am unable to access money that belongs to me. I have other accounts that I was thinking of transferring here, but I no longer want to bank here. I was told the "investigation" could take up to 30 days for a check that can easily be verified...smh.

This bank has been giving my daughter the run around the last three days. They closed her account less than three weeks ago and she went re-open the account. They told her she’d have to pay the amount owed which was 25.00. She’s depositing a check, but they say no you have to pay that part in cash. She didn’t have the cash because she was depositing a check. She went back the next day and paid the 25.00 and then was told oh we can’t re-open until we find out if you need to take a class and the person who could tell her if she needed a class leaves at five. My daughter works until six, and why wasn’t she told this the day before. The lady took her number and was supposed to call her yesterday, no call. I’m sending her to an actual branch today because I have heard that some of the branches, including this one give certain customers a harder time than others. I’m hoping race isn’t the issue but I have hard time saying it’s not, being that I watched a friend whose white go through this exact same problem and had there account re-opened without any of these obstacles.

I am very disappointed in the NEW system, it is so sad in many ways! The people in the bank and Laura are 12 out of 10 BUT the new system gets a minus 12. I truly have NOT found one good point about it and is not customer friendly to me! Again the people get a 12 out of 10, the website gets a minus 12.

My granddaughter took $2000 in one dollar bills to be deposited in this branch. The teller counted out the money and insisted that there was only 1900.00 not $2000. They were also treated disrespectfully by teller there. Since my granddaughter is black I can only assume the branch stole 100$ from them because they were irritated at having to count out that much money. I would advise of people of color not do business with that particular branch as they are crooks and racists.

Use to use us bank and got charged for having regular accounts like "maintenance fees" community America is all free accounts and they literally pay you once a year just to have stuff open with them. Not to mention the lowest interest rates on vehicle loans.There is zero reason why you shouldn't switch to them.
