9300 E 75th St, Raytown“PRCKC provides a much needed service at an affordable cost. I brought in a stray female cat and am very happy to have her spayed. I found the service to be great from picking up the humane pet trap to picking up the cat after surgery. Thank you for providing this service. If needed I will certainly be a return customer.”
“Outstanding program! Although these people have disabilities, they have tons of talent in many different ways. Some people are intimated by people with disabilities as i was until I was blessed with the opportunity to really get to know Beth Hartley. I discovered something I didn't know or understand. They are PEOPLE and they have immense value to add to our understanding of diversity. They need us, to understand them and the joy returned to us cannot be put into words without experiencing personal interaction with them. Do not be afraid to love them.... They will love you in their own way.”
“Everyone was friendly and always had food snacks and drinks available, not a bad walk to or from the hospital. They had a movie room, a little play area off of the living room and dining room that kids can build with Legos on the Lego wall”

2502 Cherry St, Kansas City“Love volunteering, donating, and visiting this place. Staff are so helpful and friendly. When you commit your time and donating, not only is it rewarding but also, you're helping out the kids and those who are sick. They always need things here. Check their website for their wants and needs. I have donated some toiletries, travel size soap, shampoo, lotions etc. Sharing is caring. If you get a chance, you get to meet their mascot/pet dog. Very friendly.”
“This is an incredible organization that has revitalized the historic downtown area into destination boutiques and eateries. They have flawlessly blended the Victorian with the Modern. Stop by and visit with them. They will tell you all about their remarkable town.”
“This is one of my family's favorite places to visit in the city. There are a lot of animals to look at inside the building, a nice area to bird watch, and some trails with rock formations. It's usually pretty quiet too and clean. The staff is friendly. The birds of prey are really something to see as is the gigantic snapping turtle and mole.”
“I tell e.one about this place. They make having a pet affordable w the cost of shots less then half the price of a regular vet office. They are fast & friendly w a very effective way of processing their appointments w an easy to use website to schedule your appointment easily & they send out reminders every year when your pet is due for shots. They also have cat & dog food available for free for those who r in need as well as supplies like bowls, leashes, collars, cages even s.times.Great resource if u have pets!!”

413 E 18th St, Kansas City“This is the best of both worlds or whatever Queen Hannah Montanna said! This is because not only is DO GOOD CO. an amazingly curated resale shop, it also is a non-profit. Does that mean I can tax write off my vintage Chanel?? Well, that question remains unanswered. However, the merit of DO GOOD CO. isn't in question because it always impresses. From its fantastic selection of name brand, in tip top shape, lightly used designer goods to the wide variety of unique and local gifts to surprise any hostess or birthday girl or bride to be...or heck just about anyone youre looking to impress. If you are looking for a store that'll make you beam ear to ear because not only are you being kind to the environment you are also simultaneously supporting children and dogs in need in the immediate kcmo metro area then, DO GOOD CO is for you. It's one of those specialty vintage shops that never feels pretentious but does feel exclusive, and I absolutely love that for the downtown KC area. It makes it easy to allow patrons to feel at home as well as making it a luxury shopping experience. I will continue to shop at DO GOOD CO and FEEL GOOD about doing it. Just recently, I was honored to be invited to attend a holiday party at DO GOOD CO. and every detail was well thought out and planned impeccably. I was so impressed by the catering as well as the great selection of vendors who brought flair to the festivities. Thank you for the opportunity of celebrated the season as well as the mission of this spectacle local non profit.”
“Humble little non-profit bicycle shop ran by volunteers. Good selection of used bikes, seemingly fixed up like new, for a flexible price. The staff/volunteers are were friendly and knowledgeable, and had me in and out with a nice Schwinn. Very cool concept.”

8900 Troost Ave, Kansas City“They were helpful and friendly. What I found unique and refreshing was how they tried to anticipate your needs and give you options. I highly recommend that veterans come to this location and register. Don't forget to bring a copy of your DD-214. This organization will also provide you with a box of food if you need it. They also have shelves filled with toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste and many more things. Veterans Community offers many more services so give them a call or stop by.”
“I just watched the documentary and I have to say I am very inspired. I hope one day soon God blesses me to do half of what she’s done and doing I would be so honored. Our vision is so similar with the passion to help others and just love from a compassionate heart.”
“Amazing, inclusive teacher! My husband and I enjoy taking dance classes together (they're all intro classes as we're not really dancers), and the intro to salsa teacher on 1/24/24 was one of the best teachers we've had. We look forward to learning more from Redux Society!”
“Goodwill is a very dynamic place to work for with a lot of dynamic people who are very serious about their mission, community and employees. I grew up in the neighborhood they were in and had a relative who spent many years with them. All I can say is this is a business who really say what they mean and definitely do exactly what they say above and beyond.”
“Wonderful place to host or attend a meeting. Make sure you leave extra time to visit the beautiful gardens across the street from the conference center. Easy to schedule meetings, the staff are great, and there are a variety of meeting spaces so you can find something that works for your group.”

“Our family loves this facility! We've had a babyshower, Sweet 16 and 50th birthday party here. The floor plan just works and the kitchen setup and amenities are perfect. My only complaints are one set of the double ovens doesn't work and hasn't for some time and the chairs don't feel sturdy enough like they could give out on you at any time. All in all a great place for an event.”
“It would be nice if there were a sign or something. The entrance for shipping and receiving is on Prospect Ave but you have to follow the road going to the police station around to the left to find the docks. Other than that people are friendly etc.”
“We adopted (Bruce) now named Ollie one week ago and we feel like we hit the jackpot with this pup! He has settled in nicely and is bringing us loads of love and fun! Thank you Wayside Waifs!”

5805 Troost Ave, Kansas City“I love the doggy daycare at Pawsperity. My Cavalier cannot wait to get in the door when we arrive. The staff are all so wonderful and helpful. I like the way the daycare is set up with play areas and the ability to go potty in a designated area. Also they are never over crowded with dogs like some other facilities. I also like that it supports the grooming project to train people for careers as groomers”
“Wonderful place with great after school programs and staff. I have enjoyed volunteering here. I encourage anyone interested to get involved so they can help shape young lives!”

“Fantastic bike shop. The owners and employees are very knowledgeable, capable, and eager to get you on an affordable and suitable bicycle. I bought two bikes there for a very reasonable price. The bikes had been meticulously cleaned and refurbished. I'm beyond happy with them. As someone who's been using a bicycle to commute for two decades, I highly recommend this shop for all of your cycling needs.”
“Charlie’s House is a very informative site to educate parents and homeowners on the potential household dangers that can harm young children. Call the staff and schedule a tour of the facility, Melissa Roach gives a great tour and offers visitors insights into safety. This tour is a must for Childcare facilities, and Emergency First Responders in order to share with the public.”
“Attended the National Junior Angus Show hosted here at the American Royal complex n 2022. The facility is well maintained and there are a lot of great options available for families who wanted something unique to do on the 4th of July. The facility offers plenty of space for vendors, lots of history for people who want to know more about what the future of ranching looks like, and it really is setup for anything you want to do in showing livestock. This is a great event location, and being able to attend NJAS was fantastic.”
