I recently had an opportunity to visit the bank in Poplar Bluff. I was in town attending to some business with my father. Unfortunately, we were poorly greeted by one of the Customer Service Reps. From start to finish, she rarely made eye contact with us, including my charismatic, 6-year-old nephew. She was abrupt, rude, and overall unpleasant with an elderly veteran that doesn't hear well. Though her demeanor was unpleasant, as a professional, I just observed and did not mirror her behavior by not causing a scene. This Rep should be reminded that in customer service, the Rep is a representation of the establishment. Perhaps Mariah is in the wrong department as she did not represent a warm nor professional representation of the bank. Especially if she could not be inviting to a child on Halloween.I just spoke with a Supervisor at the bank as a result of my earlier, 1-Star rating/post. I appreciated the follow-up and I'm confident they will work hard to make an improvement within their Customer Service team.

It's a bank from the stone ages, and they really don't care about keeping your business. If your card is not working you have to wait for their business hours to fix it. When you call concerned about your account they tell you you're free to go somewhere else.

I have been very pleased with the service from this bank. I have used them for 20+ years. On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond to help me.

You all fail to fix the fact that the online hours are wrong nobody answers the phone til after 7 how are people supposed to take care of financial problems of their bank came even open or answer the phone on time??

I recommend First Midwest Bank. My debit card had been compromised. called in they stopped card. I was told I needed to go in person to any one of branches with proper I'd to receive new card. which is totally understandable. fast friendly service
