I don't even live in this town or even in Missouri. I have a package that has been in this post office for now 4 weeks and no status changes in 4 weeks. It is unfortunate for the seller that I bought from that they have to deal with this establishment. This is by far the worst post office I have ever delt with in life. Get your heads on and do your jobs! Send people their stuff!I can most likely guarantee they're gonna put my package as lost mail.

We have been here almost 2 years and have had multiple problems with mail. First we have recieved our neighbors mail posted to their address at least 2 times. Additionally our mail box is left open constantly by our postal courier, this happens at least twice a week. Most importantly our mail has been given to our neighbors as well. Also not something I considered with this review but take it for what you will. We have tried putting outgoing mail in our mailbox such as return to senders or wrong addresses and those envelopes are left in the mail box.

The few times I've gone into this post office I've had good service from the same lady each time. I have mailed a few large envelopes and small bubblers for my Grandpa and she was helpful in letting me know how my envelopes needed to be sealed in the future so they wouldn't get ripped by the machines (you need to tape down the flap vs using the brad pin). She also let me know how I could ship one of my packages cheaper through media mail vs. first class or priority. As for my mail, it is always on time and in my box usually around noon or one. I've not had any issues with mail not being delivered to my box and my postal worker often goes above and beyond in making sure packages to big for the box after safely tucked into the porch. When I have ordered live aquatic plants and fish she had even made sure they were safely in my cool garage (if it was open) or in a shady spot on the porch. All and all pretty happy with my service.

I think I must have gotten spoiled by my previous post office who would be able to deliver mail if the address is incomplete or off by number or not EXACTLY how they want it to be. They would also let me know if I had sufficient funds on prepaid label packages when I dropped them off. They were always friendly and helpful. DO NOT expect this level of service from the Post Office in Pleasant Hill. We have a physical address and PO Box. We have people address using both addresses per their suggestion. However, we have found that even though both are on the piece, they will not deliver to the 2nd line of the address. I have never had this many packages returned to sender or placed in a donation bin based on the rate of the package and the exactness of the labeling. We have also had packages arrive but sit on their shelf for a few days because we didn't get a pickup notice and it wasn't put in a package pickup box with a key. We have to watch informed delivery to check when we are expecting packages (sometimes it is delivered days later). I actually am concerned my service will be worse based on this negative review but people need to be aware. Fingers crossed ?

Mailman not honest about delivery of large items and won't make any attempt to deliver them. You will have to go to the post office to get them yourself for THEIR convenience.

Update 8/3/2021: So, I’m unsure why the staff here has been very rude and short with me lately. I walked in early after they opened. No one was at the window. Finally, someone walked up couldn’t even make eye contact and sounded so exasperated over having to help a customer at the window. I just paid a lot of money (probably too much) for you to ship my package, the least you can do is treat me like a valued customer. Also, I had prepaid packages and asked for a receipt. I’ve had too many packages get lost with USPS. I could tell she was pretty annoyed I asked for them and didn’t say another word to me as she printed them and walked off. I mean, I’d like documentation in case my package ends up lost or damaged. I’ll make the drive to LS or go up more at UPS over this treatment!Original: For the most part, staff is helpful and friendly with only a couple exceptions at the window where the lady seemed annoyed when I walked up to get a package sent and inconveniently interrupted her conversation with the other workers. I’ve rarely had issues with receiving mail (except for one instance they transferred one of my incoming packages to Harrisonville).

Really disappointing moving in our new home nothing but problems with your postal office/carrier. We moved to the other side of our drive as requested. Your carrier saw the mailbox being moved as requested. She said nothing about it being placed in the incorrect location. You deliver our mail again after holding it wuth no grace period after we just moved in.( Unreasonable to begin with) Now you want us to move it again after we cemented it in place. To the other side of our neighbors drive way Jesus! No one else has grouped mailboxes in our area! Screw it keep our mail we will transfer everything to pay online and stop ordering things that come through the post office. We will be contacting a lawyer, fox 4 problem solvers, the attorney General of Missouri. This is unbelievable you have a terrible postmaster for not being clear on where to move it. A lazy carrier obviously who needs to fired LIKELY our box is not near the drainage ditch now. Its in a perfectly accessible spot out of the cult de sac. We rented a machine redug a hole cemented after having digging people mark the area. We are not relocating our mail box off our own property that is nuts! We didnt have the ground marked on our neighbors property. Nor does anyone else on our street have their mailbox off of their property. We compiled with the mailbox being moved even though we couldnt even focus on unpacking our belongings. You just hold our mail unjustified. The weather jasnt even gotten bad yet maybe if you had delivered our mail and gave us time to sort things out before making us relocate it. We could have had better communication from your office as to where to put it when we did have to move it before winter weather came. We could avoided cementing it in the wrong place but lack of communication on your part or courtesy for a family just moving back in to town that has been a member of your town for over a decade. Totally absurd to be treated this way and your lack of doing your job correctly. So the mailbox isnt moving! You can give us a free p.o. box or we will collect it once a month when we feel like driving up to your office.Considering a postal change for all mail to relocate to my mother's.Shame on you people!

My mother-n-law, send a bday card for my son with the wrong street address written on it. The PHill post office were able to find our new address and get the bday card to us just a few days after she sent it. So amazing!! Their hard work, kindness, and dedication to serve the public, made my sons and his grandma, very happy. Thank you very much!! We appreciate all your hard work!!

The staff here is always helpful, with a pleasant disposition. They have always helped me to find the least expensive method to ship my packages. I can also schedule pick-ups on the usps website very easily and they are willing to provide mail tote baskets for my packages.
