This place is fantastic. I hate to leave this review because others might find this hidden gem. One of the best places you could go to get your license renewals. They verify all your paperwork when you get there so you don't have to waste time setting in line, only to find out something's wrong. There is no attitude, they are nothing but helpful.

Had a great morning with my daughters. Showed up at the licensing office in Plattsburg to get one daughter a MO license and the other an updated MO real license. My oldest daughter (daughter in law) went in first. When she came out she was red faced and her eyes were watery. I knew she must have had a bad experience. As my youngest girl and I go in my daughter stumbled w her words and I spoke up to reaffirm what she was trying to say and the licensing lady looked at me and snapped angrily that she needs to hear it from her.
I completely understand that this is the process for legality reasons. What is not acceptable is this lady who already holds a position of authority over anyone who enters her office should NOT be snapping at anyone. This instantly made my daughter even more nervous and answer another question wrong.
After my youngest was done my older one had to go back in and asked me to go in with her. This time I witnessed how rude she was being talked to. That lady intimated her so much that my girls eyes were watering and she almost failed the eye test because everything was blurry. She grilled my daughter over her driving record and almost didn't give her a license because it didn't have a class rating (issued from WA state). I said I had the same license and mine didn't have a class rating. Then the lady started interrogating me about me living here. I said I did. I didn't get my MO license yet.
This lady made this experience awful. I don't understand how someone can be so rude to people who need her assistance. She should not be in customer service.
I'm giving this a 2 because the man greeting us was great and made this experience pleasant despite the awful treatment from this lady doing licenses.

Went there today to get a Missouri license. The man who took our information as the door greater was nice and helpful. He wanted me to show the lady my documents as he said it should work. It was a great experience all the way up to getting into the licensing lady’s office. The lady doing drivers licensing is extremely rude, incompetent as if she was on a power trip. She even referenced how the gentleman who checked us in “doesn’t know what he is doing. He’s just a temp” in a rude and snappy tone. If you don’t like working with people, don’t work in customer service. I do not recommend this licensing office to anyone.

Arrived at 4:20pm to get my child’s permit. The lady at the front said if your here to get licensing we aren’t accepting any more people for licensing. But the hours are until 5 pm ? I left my job early to make sure we had plenty of time for them to get the job done by 5 pm.

Website said open this Saturday at 8:30 to 12. We drove there and arrived at 8:15. There was 5 other vehicles waiting, only to find when we started to form a line, only to find a sign saying closed today. Should at least change on voicemail and website. That was very bad customer service. But I guess it’s another sign of the times.

Went there on 6/21/24 to get plates for a boat , young girl working window said I needed a Notarized bill of sale I knew I didn’t but didn’t Argue with her just went somewhere else and they said don’t need one , would have saved me a lot of time if women at Plattsburg knew what she was doing

Not sure what's going on here but within the last two trips this year I have been given incorrect information and had to go to another office to finish titling vehicles. I will likely not go back. It's not worth the convenience if I can't get what I need done without going to another office anyway.

I’m convinced it is impossible to get anything done at this location. I have never walked out of here with anything accomplished. Don’t waste your time with these people. They truly need to re-train or re-hire. Complete worthless. Update: went to different dmv with the same information and no problems

Pretty unbelievable- only office open on weekend. Drove 40+ miles to get there and turned away. Didn’t close for another 30”. Lady in from was not only hateful but could tell she wasn’t interested in her job.
