Founded in 1895, The Clinton County Leader has been the constant news source for Clinton County for more than 120 years. Combining and continuing the traditions of the Plattsburg Leader, Lathrop Optimist, Lathrop and Gower Rural Reporter, and The Clinton County Democrat, The Leader has a newspaper lineage that dates back to the Civil War.
