Queen City Gas placed our tanks and we use them for all of our propane needs. Great no nonsense people up there.

One star is too high of a rating for this company. Kent came out to my disabled mothers house to install a propane tank. He said the incorrect line was installed but offered to install the new line at cost if we dug the trench. The family worked together and dug the trench. My mother has been reaching out to them for two months, being told Kent was busy but would get back to her soon. Today, she called to follow up as the temperatures are beginning to drop. Donna told her that she meant to call her, Kent decided to reject the contract because he doesn't want anymore customers. Even though last week Donna told her it would be the end of last week, beginning of this week. Leaving it now to to scramble while we find someone else to install the line and ensure my mother has heat. They could have told her this 2 months ago instead of dragging it out and leaving her without at the last minute. We will find a way to take care of our mother and ensure she is warm. If you are looking for a company that will deliver on their promises and keep you and your loved ones warm in the winter, do not even consider queen city. If you prefer to be lied to and left to freeze, they are the company for you.

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my 15 years of living in Ozark. I should have known after reading they left a widowed mother and her young son without any heat source in one of the worst winters we’ve had. It wasn’t because they couldn’t pay, it wasn’t because they were behind on any bill (it’s a pre-pay situation) it was because she questioned them when they were deliberately gas gouging because of the freezing temperatures. This company is absolutely TRASH. We here in Ozark don’t stand with companies who treat our community residents like this. Do yourself a favor and pick any other company for your propane. You and your family don’t ever want to be treated like this family was. Kent and his secretary are vile, money hungry people.

Tech parked in the middle of a dead end road with plenty of room to get off the road. Sat and watched as someone tried and failed to go around. Even sat in the truck making out the bill when he could have moved after he was done pumping.

If I could give 0 stars I would. When I signed up for Queen City Gas in 2016, I wasn't able to pay my bills up front so I couldn't get on auto refill. The last 3 bills have been paid either in advance or charged my card immediately upon arriving at the office the same day. I was on 5% today, Saturday, February 6, 2020. I called and they said I would be charged an additional $125 for weekend calls. I spoke to Donna, told her I was already supposed to be on auto refill, so I wasn't running out and having to pay a weekend fee. She said the best she could do is put me on auto refill to not exceed 200 gallons. She said Kent was on his way at 9:30am." To which I asked her to still have Kent call me. I called back at 10:58am and told her I had to get my kids so I couldn't have a conversation with Kent as to why I wasn't already on Auto fill when I was told once I paid my bills on time I would be taken off of cash upon delivery. Donna said " I talked to Kent and it isn't economically feasible for us to fill everyone's tank with only 200 gallons when they needed it. We would be in debt. So we fill when you're at 30%. And you can't afford that. " I replied: since you can't fill a tank more than 75% (375 gallons) then I would only need 150 gallons at 30% which is less than what I needed at 200 gallons." She said she would have Kent call me. Kent delivered after they charged me $524. And didn't call me. So I called back at 1240pm. Donna answered again and I asked for Kent to call me. Donna replied "he's not going to call you. He's had 3 conversations with you. If you want to talk know him be at your house." I told her "you have changed your story 3 times now and had no intentions of making it right after you took my money. Then put me on the auto fill from this point on. I used Queen City to to support local." Her reply "Kent doesn't want you on auto fill." My reply: " why not? He has to if since I fulfilled my obligation and did a full tank fill, paid at the time of service in 2018, and have paid upfront for the following 3 tank fills, 4 counting today's fill. So moving forward he has to put me on auto fill." Her reply: "well we arent having any more conversations with you, he decided he doesn't want you on auto fill, if you have to, change to a different company. You're going to need a new tank and such, which costs more money " My reply "I will be" I highly suggest you support another business who treats every individual right. They have lied multiple times, I kept up on my end and paid my bills in advance, I was told 3 times I would be put on auto fill, had to call 3 times after almost running out, after getting my money, they insulted me by telling me I can't afford my bills, after caving and settling with not arguing the fact that I shouldn't have been on 5% had they done their job, they refused to comply to their policy, and then told me to go somewhere else. I'll be reporting them to the BBB considering they are not following company policy. Their policy states you have to have 150 gallon minimum, and 200 gallon minimum for the discount price. To do Auto Fill their policy online says "Regular deliveries based on your specific usage. Auto Fill is easiest way to make sure you have propane when you need it...to ensure you never run out." Since requesting auto fill multiple times. I've had to call and get a fill on now, 4 different occasions. The policy doesn't state 30% until you get a fill, which I told Donna to still set me up on auto fill at the 30% because it was the same as putting me at 200 gallons and she refused, because Kent thinks I can't afford it, it also doesn't say customers are on auto fill at the company's discretion. It's not my problem Donna decided to tell my something before speaking to her boss, was hateful because she promised me he would call 3 times, and then treated me as if I my busi

Very nice and professional people. A pleasure doing business with.Called them by chance last winter and they had better prices and did not hesitate to get out to check my tank quickly and get me filled. It was the beginning of a great relationship. They have my business and I definitely would recommended them to anyone.

Queen City has always been professional and courteous. Pending a future weekly forecast of -0 temperatures and literally a forecast of pending snow for 8 to 10” tomorrow we ran out of propane. Turns out my gauge was faulty and shoes propane, I didn’t have... ?♂️ Queen City was extremely helpful, punctual and professional from the phone calls I made to the tech supplying my propane... I want to say Thank You to Queen City for taking care of my household so quickly .... Great Job!!!!!!

This is hands down one of the worst companies I have ever heard of and is a disgrace to the town of Ozark. Kent and Donna both immediately started price gauging residents when we had a snow storm. They raised the propane price $1.05 in two hours. They told customers they had to pay on delivery and it had to be in cash. We have NEVER had to do that. They left a widow and her son without heat. Not because they couldn’t pay but because the mother let people on social media know what was going on with them. I have no doubt the cash demand was so they could hide it from the governor who had just released a statement warning gas companies NOT TO price gauge the residents in Mo. You have other options for propane in the area. I beg you to have yourself from dealing with theses unethical people. They left a

Thought I smelled gas, and I called Kent. He got out there quickly and told me what I needed to have fixed and gave me the name of someone who could help me make the repair. Repairs have been scheduled and I have peace of mind. Definitely will keep them in mind when I need my tank filled.

Ran out of propane at 5pm on Friday afternoon. Called Queen City but I thought we could make it through the weekend unless the weather turned really cold (but it wasn't at the time). They said they would try to send someone but if not it would be Monday. Saturday early afternoon they showed up and I was so thankful because it was in the low forties! They said the didn't want anybody freezing over the weekend. Thank you!!!

Queen City Gas is an awsome company, their staff is very friendly and helpful! They are very professional and prompt. This is our first experience with propane and the last company that we used was terrible to work with. Queen City has made it a pleasure to work with them. If you choose them you won't be disappointed.
