“I have spent years trying to find a comfortable shoe/insole, etc and even had a podiatrist make custom insoles. They hurt my feet- even when I was in bed my feet ached. He kept putting me in bigger shoes so the insole wouldn't bend. Eventually i felt I was wearing clown shoes. I then tried many different brands of shoe and insoles. I could barely walk when I went into your store. Ray Easterling at the Des Pere Mo store put me in shoes that nurtured my foot, comfortable, supportive and a size I wasn't swimming in. I went back because I felt they were wearing out and he fit me again. I then went hiking on a 3 mile "moderate" trail with a few 10% +grades and lots of roots and rocks. My footing was stable and I never had to stop to get off my feet. With shoes before fleet feet I would have been in pain trying to finish the trail. In short, I feel I can walk again and the shoes fit!”

He understood the needs I described and brought out the perfect shoe. He also walked around the store with me and helped me find a pair of shoes for myself. He wasn’t simply selling me shoes. He was helping me select shoes to meet our needs. He was also polite and friendly. I will ask for him when I return for my next purchase.”

“I'm writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend who never has good experiences anywhere lol. He was RAVING about this place after he picked up his boots. For 2 months he needed new work boots and we went to Chucks, Boot barn, you name it, and each time he returned the boots he bought. The customer service here is amazing, she told him how to take care of his boots and even gave him extra soles and oil. Thank you guys so much!”

“The best place to go for runners or walkers! Mike is so knowledgeable and patient. He first studied my old pair of running shoes and listened to what I liked, didn't like, and needed in a pair of shoes. He spent a lot of time helping me try out models and his first suggestion is the most comfortable pair of running shoes that I absolutely love- I feel like I can go in them forever! “I walked in at least 3 other shoe stores before Tradehome Shoes, but none of them came close to the experience I had here. I didn’t get his name, but the employee working today 5/1/24 was SO helpful. He was the first one to be helpful to me all day. I generally knew what I was looking for (a running shoe), but he helped me narrow it down, explaining which styles in which brands would suit my needs. He was overall knowledgeable and very friendly. He even let me know another store in the mall that would also have what I was looking for if I wasn’t finding it with him.10/10 recommend and would return.”

“David, was extremely helpful and patient. He sized my shoes, and had someone drive over the pair I needed from the warehouse. In addition, the shoes I wore into the store were hurting my heel and without prompting he asked to see them, and fixed the plastic irritant that had poked through the heel of my boot! Thank you!”

I loved getting tailored like a Barbie doll in the cute little platform in the dressing room, and the seamstress was very kind, as well as the young ladies working there who complimented me and helped me. Most other dept store girls are gossipy and mean, but not these girls! The cashier was also very nice and pleasant. Thank you all for being so cool! I always love coming here because of that and the quality dresses. Only problem is that almost everything fits like a dream and I only have so much cash! Ha ha ha.”
