Had to make a couple calls to verify if my taxes were filed. First time I called she said it was waiting for a manager quality approval. Fine, but on April 15th I still did not get a confirmation email. The lady on the phone said oh yeah ! We had trouble with it over the weekend. I will call tech support. Sooo, if I haven't called into the office , what would have happened to my tax return?
The appointments, phone or in office , were late.
Going to the office , the gentleman tax prepaper in the office telling the secretary how crazy his next appointment was and where she works, personal details, ECT. It was an uncomfortable and unprofessional office culture. I wouldn't want to file taxes with an office knowing they are gossipping in front of customers personal details.
I will not be returning.

For starters, I had a great experience with Joe. He was very helpful and made sure that I understood everything step by step. He was patient with me and took time on every little detail. The issue that came was when I called back the next day and spoke with Steven. Taxes can be frustrating for most people I was trying to understand how to go online and pay my federal versus my state taxes. I had a million papers in my folder and I’m trying to look through them and ask questions and he was extremely condescending and when I asked him how to pay online he told me that using the internet is a pretty common thing these days. Like what? Yeah I use the internet everyday I’m 27 years old I wasn’t asking how to navigate Google, I was asking where I can find the numbers on my paper to pay for federal vs state tax. He obviously had no idea what I was asking and he kept going around in circles telling me it was in my folder. LIKE I GET THAT SIMPLE CONCEPT BUT THERES A MILLION SHEETS OF PAPER AND IDK WHAT IM LOOKING FOR. I was asking extremely simple questions and he continued to be rude throughout our phone call. Avoid Steven at all cost. He will literally make you feel like you don’t have a brain inside your head. Sorry not everyone understands taxes Steven!?!?

DO NOT GO HERE! They’re unprofessional the moment you disagree with them. Came in for a consult to understand why credits are extremely lower than they should be with self employment which I reiterated from the moment I walked inside and I was met with a “you have to pay” for them to explain results, what’s different, why it’s different, or even how to change it so it doesn’t reoccur 1-2 hours later. Needless to say I didn’t file and will not be returning.

UNPROFESSIONAL !I CALLED IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF THEY COULD TAKE ME AS A WALK IN, ONCE I WALKED IN I WAS MET WITH A RUDE WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM THE ELDERLY MAN AT THE FRONT. HE COULDN'T SPEAK STRAIGHT AND KEPT ASKING IF I WAS THERE FOR THE BREAKER BOX AFTER BEING TOLD I WAS THE ONE WHO CALLED IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF THEY COULD TAKE AS WALK IN .THEN HE DESPLAYED A RUDE AND CALLOUS DEMENOR AS HE PROCEEDED TO ACT ANOYED AND SIGHED SAYING HE HOULD "I GUESS, HELP" I AM AUTISTIC AND THIS ATTITUDE WAS A RED FLAG THAT HE WOULD CAUSE A MELT DOWN BY NOT LISTENING AND GASLIGHTING ME ON MY PAPER WORK SO I DIDNT TAKE THE RISK (IM A 1099 WORKER) I HOPE H&R ARE NOT WILLING TO LET THIS BE WHAT REPRESENTS THEM AS A COMPANY.
