Just what I wanted

I have to admit it; I have a problem.
My name is Lyric and I'm a Dollar Tree impulsive oniomaniac. I cannot shop at the Dollar Tree without impulsively buying $40 (minimum) worth of merchandise that I had no prior intention of buying. When I enter the store I immediately lose all reason and my self control goes on break. Suddenly I turn into someone I don't recognize. I suspect I actually morph into something resembling the Sea Hag with a shopping cart. Then, I cruise the aisles and my 8 octopus tentacles grab all the shiney, colorful gadgets they can reach, throw them into my cart and go back and do it again. And again. Then, as if waking from a fever dream, my id slowly returns as SH departs to find a new shopper to assist. I see the checkout conveyor belt piled with the most random assortment of items imaginable and realize I put it all there. The cashier finally rings up the final item, I pay, and take my multiple bags to my car, get in and try to process how I just spent $70 but forgot to get the poster board I now remember I was there to buy. I can't go back in to get it because I'm afraid the Sea Hag will reappear to help me shop again and I can't afford that.
I know I have no power over my oniomania. And though I sometimes display slight oniomaniacal tenancies at Walmart, Target and Dollar General on occasion, never nearly as severe as the full blown oniomania that surfaces when I walk through the doors of The Tree.
But i's my affiction and I am ok with it. There are way worse conditions that others are dealing with. And if I'm truthful, my Dollar Tree induced oniomania is my favorite disorder. And I'm positive there are many other people who have it because I see what's in their carts.
I ❤️ my D Tree Oniomania.

I was just in the store and the employee Chris was being really weird. He came up behind my cousin and touched her back and really quickly ran off smiling. It felt like he was following us through the aisles and was pacing by the front door. It gave us both a really weird feeling. I won’t be back anytime soon.

I shop a lot at the Dollar Tree in Osage Beach, and every time I get ready to check out, there's a line of at least 4 or more people ahead of me and no checkout person around. I don't have this problem at the Camdenton store. There appears to be more Staff there, and they are more visible. NEVER waited to check out there!

I feel like this one is going down hill from when I first started going to this store. Same with the one in Eldon. I heard that the one in Osage has a new mgr so crossing my fingers.
