11AM - 10PM
9612A Olive Blvd, Olivette“Friendly staff. Parking lot is always crowded and not close to store saw older adults parking in fire line to go into store. Store needs to purchase reserved parking spaces for their store only”
“The clerk was so nice! He made sure I had everything I wanted or needed before I left and asked me to being friends along when I showed up next time! And tbh, I will. It's refreshing to visit a convenience store and not be followed around like I'm gonna steal something. He even conversed with me about how much I enjoyed my job. I work at a popular breakfast chain darn near next door to them and he made sure I got back inside my job's doors before he went back to his job. Awesome people!!! I will be back and be spending more money than I honestly have. ?”
“Best STL bread so far. Great customer service. We got treated like a regular even though we were new. Bread guy Jonathan was very knowledgeable. The ciabatta is bomb and lovingly selected products/meats/sauces are arranged neatly.”
9AM - 11PM
930 S 5th St, St Charles“This location is extremely clean and has a good atmosphere. Paired with a great selection, Paul is knowledgeable and always willing to point you in the right direction with a friendly, unrushed conversation.”
“Fantastic wine bar! Great neighborhood spot with wonderful selection of wines and local spirits + beers in the retail shop. Awesome vibe at the bar to enjoy a few drinks with friends. Tiffany (owner), Ken the Wine Dude, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful”
“Great selection and such helpful friendly staff. Easy street parking in front, as well as a small parking lot in back, make a quick stop so convenient. They always have a kind word for my dog plus a treat, so it is fun to stop by when we are out for a walk. Their wine suggestions are spot on.”
“Good selection with reasonable prices and deals. It's always very tidy, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their store and inventory. First place I go to when I hear of something new I want to try.”
“Looking for a hard to find bottle and this was the only local place that had it. The guys there are super helpful and friendly and willing to help out! Awesome store with a large selection.”
“Very cool owners who can answer any question you have about cocktails & liquor. Their cocktail kits show how much the care about the craft & the customer.
Great price range.
Cocktail classes are a blast!
---EDIT:---
To answer their question... The cocktail creation is going fantastically & easy thanks to the classes.”
“The store was very clean and work. It was very very nice very professional, and everything happens in a very quick manner. I will definitely be shopping here again. Prices were also great.”
10AM - 7PM
1135 S Big Bend Blvd, St. Louis“If you want quality, this place has what you need. Fresh fish wild caught, prime steak, iberico pork, great selection of wine/liquor/sauces/gourmet ingredients. However, you sir, are going to pay for that luxury with your first born child. This isn’t STARRS fault, but just the nature of luxury ingredient pricing. I would like to see STARRS try to lower prices. That would get them a 5 star review.”
“Best place in St. Louis if you are a quality tequila drinker! They have the top labels from the small batch farms in Mexico that produce top quality additive free tequila. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable, both wine and tequila as well as every other spirit.”
7AM - 1AM
4674 Dr Martin Luther King Dr, St. Louis“Been coming here for over 20 years. The owner, Mr Mitchell has a certain way he likes to take care of his customers and one is that he sells the coldest beer in town and makes the freshest ice. His ice is literally the best ice ever. The entire family are warm and welcoming to every patron that walks in the store.”
“We were pleasantly amazed! My son wanted fun, unique cheeses for his 21st birthday. Vivian was wonderful! She was very humble about her cheese knowledge, but amazed us with all kinds of information about each cheese, taste-wise and practical! She was kind and upbeat and offered my party of 4 samples for each cheese in which my son was interested. We ended up buying about 8 different kinds, and my son mentioned making The Wine and Cheese Place a regular stop in the future. I was also impressed that Vivian was always positive no matter what size we needed the cheese cut! We were thoroughly impressed with The Wine and Cheese Place on New Ballas Rd!”
“Friendly staff, nice size, great selection. The new store is such an improvement. It's much more spacious, well lit, cleaner, with much more variety than the former location next door.”
10AM - 10PM
3336 Pershall Rd, Ferguson“Pretty good selection of beer, wine, and alcohol. Also one of the few places in west Florisant(3336 per-shall Road) I can find that has any kind of beers available, which is a huge plus. Get the any kind of cigarettes it’s very cheaper as compared to gestation and other liquor stores, you won't be disappointed.Good prices good customer services. “Great prices and just about always have the product I’m looking for.””
“Use to go regularly to the Brentwood store but with a change of employees I became more and more disappointed. Switched to the Ballwin store and couldn't be happier. Whoever hired TJ should get a raise (and her too).”
“Always love shopping at World Market as you can find so many interesting things there! Was able to find some stuff to finish up my Christmas shopping. There is a wide variety of items with lots of different options that would be hard to find somewhere else. Even though we went on the Sunday after Black Friday, staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing docking a star is that some of the aisles are tight to get through. I have to use a cane/crutch for mobility purposes and it was a tight fit trying to go through a couple aisles especially if I was trying to get to one side so someone else could walk by. It would have been even worse if I had been in my wheelchair as some aisles I would not have been able to go down as I doubt it would have fit. Other than that, the store is great and fun to shop through.”
“Best in class on every single front. Some of the best food, booze, and people you can find in St. Louis. Whether you are looking for a bottle of wine for the evening or a place to spend date night, you genuinely cannot beat this place. The "uncrustables" they have on the menu are my new favorite obsession, along with the best grilled cheese I've ever had!”
“We love infused olive oil Vom Fass as them. The oils are in beautiful containers. They have infused vinaigrette also. They have small batch alcohol you can sample anything.”
“Great staff, great beer and whiskey selection, and a great bar that constantly gets new whiskey and beers. They also have a great Bourbon club and do lots of good events and nightly bar specials. Shoutout to Justin, Will and Peter.”
“The best prices and service is bank. Dirt cheap can't compare to the prices. They have all the drinks you want on top of that they have really good customer service. Whatever you want they will order. Most definitely will be my spot from now on.”
“A very cool little store. I'm a vegan that is visiting friends in the area. The store has a lot of options that are not readily available where I live. I would like to go back and look around when I have more time to browse.”
“The selection here is good and the prices are reasonable, but what makes the Wine Barrel our favorite wine shop are 1) The awesome Friday night tastings, 2) The very friendly staff and 3) The little bar in front, where you can have a glass of what you just tasted or one of the other excellent choices. We've been here for three of the tastings and honestly, they can't be held responsible for the salesmen hosting the events, but they've all been good. It seems like there are always some fund people there with us for the events and we've had a good time all three times. We'll definitely be back.”
“Great system - ordered online and swung by and they had everything all boxed up and ready to go. Randall's is my go-to for all of our party needs. Great company with excellent team.”
“Soon as I found out that it was a black owned liquor store near me I been going ever since. Great customer service and good laughs. I asked for specific candy that is not often found in this neighborhood and they came through and got some. Thank you for my Long Boys lol”
“Hit or miss on the friendliness of the staff. Good, competitive prices, worth the times you get the :( employees.Update: It seems the :( may of moved on to other ventures. I'll be returning to this place more often.”
10AM - 11PM
2303 Elm St, St Charles“I was having a tough time until I randomly stumbled upon Elm Street Wine & Spirit. This guy named Sunny handed me a bottle of DUSSE and said “ A good drink is indeed important for good moments.””
“The cashier are great people and the price are not that bad depending on what you buying I like this store I never seen them being disrespectful to the customer they seem very welcome and the store clean”
“Unfortunately I didn’t visit on a Saturday when they have wine tastings. However, they were so helpful with suggestions and explanations of the different wines. This was a second visit and will definitely go back again and again. I even took a friend that wasn’t wine savvy and they talked to her and helped her a lot.”
