AC Unit less than 6 years old. Evaporator coil went out causing the refrigerant to leak out. The part was under warranty, but refrigerant is not covered. I'm out $800+ because the part went bad. That's not right, no matter how you look at it. Consumer shouldn't have to pay for what resulted because of a bad part.

We ordered a blower assembly for a local Fire Dept on Jan 2, 2025, was informed not available till 3/17/2025, we place the order and on 3/19/2025 the order was cancelled with zero explination. It took them 3 months to figure out that they do not have the part. Very unproffesional.

Low quality units. Evaporator coil leaking freon after 1 year of use, 2 years after installation. 2 year old unit. $2500 for a new coil.
It will not be Nortek again.
Warranty 1 year on parts? On HVAC? Long gone the 10-15 years warranty we used to have on these products.
Disappointed.
