“I live locally but frequent this hotel at least a dozen times a year, maybe more. HGI is very consistent and predictable in cleanliness and service. It's mainly business, families, and sports teams, etc. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel that caters to business groups, this is it. Huge meeting tables, nice atmosphere, small bar, and always friendly staff.It's my home away from home.”
“This hotel was moderately priced, almost the same as the "cheep" rooms at red roof, yet was EXTREMELY CLEAN, THEY HAD GREAT BREAKFAST, VERY NICE STAFF. The location was very easy to get to and the highway was right there, making it easy to get to wherever someone would need to be going right by highway 70. The pool was nice as well.”
“The rooms and building looked freshly redone inside and out looked nice. They also have security cameras which are great considering people break into cars these days locked or not.The room was clean, bed was very comfortable.The owners and Staff were very friendly. We got locked out of room 107 bc the battery died. The owner opened the room up for me and gave me a different one.After driving from Michigan to Missouri it was nice to relax and get rested.”

“I came here on military orders for a few weeks and it was an overall great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner they served was delicious. The pool wasn’t open but the general manager allowed us to use the indoor pool in the other hotel he owned. I would recommend staying here if you want a more home/relaxed feel.”
