Went in to the O'Fallon Walmart branch and was assisted by Austin today. I was having difficulty registering for my online account. Austin made it seem effortless.

Chris and his coworker had me take off my hood when it was freezing inside the bldg. the white guy before myself wasn’t asked to take his hood off. Can’t help but feel singled out.

I went to get stamped transaction histories and statements and was helped very quickly by Lisa. She was very patient with me and did whatever she could as to not charge me any fees and to make sure I had what I needed. She was amazing. Thank you Lisa!

Terrible service. I called to explain why my payment was 9 days late and asked if I could make payment arrangements. I was told there was nothing they could do to help. Additionally, I was told they'll block my checking account if I'm 30 days late. Do tell... when a member (that has consistently paid on time, mind you) is 9 days late and experiencing financial hardship, is it appropriate to threaten to block that member's account when said member has ALREADY asked to make payment arrangements so the institution will be paid!? Thanks for the heads up, I'll be refinancing with another institution and pulling all of my money soon. Assholes.

Up until today I would have wholeheartedly recommended this credit union to anybody that asked. This afternoon I went in and made a deposit of mostly cash and some checks. I did it through the drive-through instead of going in, that may have been what got me in this situation. The teller over the speaker told me that I had added the cash wrong that there was in fact $100 short of what I had written on my deposit slip. When I told her she was the one that was wrong she snapped back telling me she had counted it three times. At that point I felt I had no other choice but to except what she was telling me. after leaving the credit union I got matter and matter. I called the corporate office, they then called the branch. The branch said they had counted the money four times an inconsistent number with what she told me. The branch person I spoke with told me I could have gotten the money back and counted it again myself, They never gave me that option. I don't know what she did with my hundred dollar bill I don't know if she pocketed it or what, but I know how much money I gave them, and how much money they said I gave them. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this because basically they told me I had no recourse. It's a shame when you lose faith in a company that's controlling your money.

The staff is not very helpful. The website states that if you call FC and let them know you need gift cards over 10 they will accommodate. Not this branch!! The branch on Hwy K went out of their way to help me with my 15 gift cards.

Located inside Walmart, this branch appears to provide the full suite of services offered at First Community's other area locations. Besides the five Uber location it has very generous early morning to early evening weekday hours. Also offers weekend hours into mid-afternoon. Never seems too busy during the week.
