I have been banking with First Community for about 20 years. I have had my ups and downs with the credit union but always tried to stay loyal and the fact of not really needing to go inside a branch helped brush off the down sides. The past few times I have had to go in this branch have not been pleasant and the last time was the ending for me. The machine froze to sign in so I went to a teller to ask for assistance. As the teller was signing me in, a lady rudely came out of the back and was snooty in saying she would help us. The whole time she acted as if we were a burden to her having to work. She had to walk away and said nothing until she came back and stated she couldn’t help us. While I tried to ask questions to help get an understanding, she was rude and short. I have worked in the credit union industry and I understand when you have to give someone news they don’t want to hear. But no one was being rude to her and there is a way to be polite. I have since changed my direct deposit and am working on getting my auto loan paid off. The only reason I plan to keep the account is for a backup account but after 20 years First Community will no longer be my primary account and I will avoid using them for auto loans anymore avoiding having to deal with rude member service. As my dad stated when I informed him of my disappointment in the credit union our family has used for years; this credit union has lost the “charm” because they are too focused on being big.

Find somewhere else to get a car loan. Nothing but automated services and large fees. No personal touch or good service with this company.

Almost always had a great experience here. Most of the workers are so friendly and helpful. I had only ever once have someone tell me I couldn’t cash a check because my parents weren’t there?(I was 17) But I have been banking here for years with this location as the one I would frequent. Had two car loans here as a young person who couldn’t really get one anywhere else. Paid them off and now just have my checking/savings account with them. Once I paused too long looking for a pen at their new (years old now) atm and it ate my card so that sucked. But she got me a new one quickly so no big complaints.

Every teller I have gone to has an attitude problem. Almost like I am bothering them doing deposits. I also always say “no receipt” and write it on deposit slips and I still get a receipt. I will be finding a new bank to deal with.

I've never had bad service on the very few times that I've gone into the branch. Most of my banking needs to be done through the ATM & this ATM never seems to be working. I tried it again on Sunday the 17th and it was out of order again. This makes the third time I've attempted to do banking during off hours. They are only open for walk-in service during the same hours that I work. Please get a better ATM, other than that I like the bank just fine.

Complained twice to their corporate office about the same matter and was told that my issue, though valid, was not something they would prioritize. A small institution acting with all the bureaucracy and red tape of a big institution.

They stole my money, I deposited money Wednesday and everything I used my card on over the Thanksgiving holiday they hit me with non sufficient funds fees for every single thing because my deposit from Wednesday still frozen on the account. I hung up the phone on them, just thieves that don't care

Rude bank tellers act like you are robbing the joint when you request to cash a check. Furthermore, you guys look absolutely ridiculous wearing masks while handling heavily circulated and unsanitary currency. It’s time to stop the charades as during my 15 minute visit I did not see one employee sanitize even one inch of the building between customers.
