November 8th, tow truck took the car back to Jim Trenary to repair the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer. That evening I asked him to get pictures of the tool measuring the crankshaft to make sure it was not bent, Nick assured me he would do that. He did give me $500 in GM reward points for all my trouble.November 9th they had it up on the hoist, they did not use the pucks used for lifting a corvette instead they lifted it right on the rocker panels, yes, the fiberglass that had finished paint on it! Yes, it did splinter the fiberglass in at least one location. There were previous cracked spots in the same area, but this was brand new completely clean, freshly opened up fiberglass. Nick agreed to repair it. They had the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer removed. I was able to see that the crankshaft and crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer had been galuded from the pulley being loose on it. Nick assured me that it would not hurt anything, and he was going to reinstall the same crank shaft, pulley/harmonic balancer, and that this would all be documented on my paperwork. So again I asked him to get pictures of the tool measuring the crankshaft to make sure it was not bent. I also asked him to change the oil due to the metal filings mixing with the engine oil and to have the mechanic put torque marks on the bolt and pulley. Nick assured me he would do all of that.November 13th I get the car back and no he did not get a photo or even remeasure the crank, no he did not change the oil, no he did not document the damage on the crank or damage to the body on the paperwork. His mechanic did put a torque mark on the bolt, but he used white rainbow, glitter, fingernail, polish to mark it. I called Nick a few days after and he said he was working on getting an estimate for the bodywork repair and he would send me some documentation of the damage that was done. So I gave him some more time and I called him back. He still did not send the documentation. He said I could drop my car off with him and they would take it to the body shop or I could take it there myself, although the offsite location that he said they use was a whole other county away. 40 minutes away from the dealership and an hour and 10 minutes away from my house. I was no longer comfortable with my car in his hands. Since they're open the same hours that I work I have to takeoff work to take it there myself. All while there are five or six different locations that he could use right there in our town. I called Nick back and I told him it was ridiculous and unreasonable to send me over to the next county to get my car repaired when he damaged it and I requested that he figure out a way to have an auto body shop right there in our town do the repair work. He said he would look into it as well again he would send me the documentation for all the damage done. It's been about two months since he damaged my car. Still I have not received any documentation about the damage from him and he has not reached out to me of course. So I called him, he said he cannot send me documentation because he cannot re-open my paperwork and he cannot create any new paperwork so I asked him to send me an email just simply stating what transpired and he said no I'm not going to do that. He also stated that he cannot have the bodywork done anywhere else other than his "SPECIAL" location in the next county.

When getting the new battery for my Bolt EV, they kept loading it with the wrong software and saying it was charging 100% since the light on the hood indicator was solid green. The tech didn't know that if the software has it set to charge to 80% (instead of 100% like it should be after a new battery) that the hood light will still be solid green, but instead one has to open the door and look at dash indictor to see it is only at 80%. After them not doing it correctly twice, I took it to another dealer to have them install the correct software. They did it first try. They have also replaced my radio as well. When doing so, they didn't connect the antenna properly nor tape/secure it properly that it eventually started coming loose and I lost AM/FM reception. Due to another dealer being closer to my work and the above battery charging situation, I took to the other dealer to look into the radio situation. I paid $400 to get the antenna connection fixed because it took them several hours to dig into the dash to figure out what the problem was. After getting it fixed Jim Trenary wouldn't reimburse me nor the other dealer for them having to fix it.I would not go to this dealer for repairs nor anything else. They are incompetent on many levels and don't back their repair work.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I scheduled an oil change, inspection & emissions. When I got there to check in I was told their machine wasn't working for inspections but I went ahead & got the oil change...3 1/2 hours it took to do the oil change. During that time the machine was again working. I got the inspection but failed emissions. When I was ready to redo the emissions test I called for an appointment several times but was told the machine wasn't working & they had no idea on when it would be. Called the following week & same thing. Finally was able to get it retested....2 hours later for just the emissions retest & wouldn't you know it but I had to pay for another emissions test since I wasn't able to get in in due to their machine not working. When I questioned this I was told that Troop C was responsible for the machine not working & not Jim Trenary. AVOID this dealer at all costs!

Jim Ternary DOESN'T CARE!!!!! Do NOT patronize Jim Trenary. The salesman we worked with on Saturday afternoon was completely unprofessional, rude, incompetent condescending and clueless. I test drove a used car, made him a reasonable cash offer and he just said "No", snatched the key out of my hand, turned his back on me and walked away. I will NEVER give my business to Jim Trenary and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Do not get your car repaired there. After picking up my car, I noticed the dealership stenciled their logo on my car without my permission. Imagine large black "Jim Trenary" letters now on the back of my white car. No one asked if I was ok with providing them with free advertisement. Not only that, the work was done poorly and it's noticeably off-center. The dealership has effectively defaced my vehicle. When I called them, they denied that anyone did it, but it's ON MY CAR. I have tried unsuccessfully to resolve this issue for the last several weeks and no one from the dealership has bothered to respond to my attempts to contact them. I may actually be forced to seek damages through a lawyer now. There are many options in town. Don't use them.

If you walk in and Ian is at the desk, save your time and just walk away, guy doesn't give a shit about time, money, and will argue that you need an appointment, when in fact you have an appointment. We have a new vehicle it's the first oil change, and the guy wants to argue... since when does an oil change take OVER two hours with an appointment? Then I go check in it and he wants to be combative about it? I say something and it's have a nice day sir, I will tell you what Ian can do with his have a nice day shit. just do your job, don't be a dick, and argue when people are upset... another guy took over the ticket and got it done ASAP. The sales team is great here, but the service side lacks seriously, I know people don't want to work, but something more than having a heartbeat should be a requirement.Oh and fuck you Ian

We couldn't be happier with the purchase of our new Suburban, the whole sales team was phenomenal. We worked with Rob in sales, highly recommend him. He was very friendly and accommodating (my husband and I had our 3 children with), he worked quickly to get our car ready to take home in time to get our kids to hockey that evening. Jason in finance helped us secure a loan and choose a warranty package that worked perfectly for both our budget and our needs. Everyone in the dealership was incredibly welcoming, we never felt pushed into anything the way some dealerships do. It's the big dealership with the small town dealership feel. We look forward to doing more business in the future.

This is by far the worst service department I've dealt with in my life. And I've owned a lot of vehicles. First off, even for a simple oil change, you can expect to wait hours. Every. Single. Time. Whether you drop off the vehicle or sit painfully in the waiting area with all the other suckers. Since I have a fleet vehicle and it's close to my house, I go here. Not anymore. I'll drive the extra 20-30 minutes from now on. Let me start with just calling the service department. Every time I call, the ladies answering the phone are laughing and are too distracted to take good notes. They have to take notes because they'll pass you off to one of the service guys, who never answer anyway. So they do the "oh give me your name and number and he'll call you back"...only to NEVER call you back. On multiple occasions they've had my truck to fix something. First, don't buy a GM. I never would own one myself, and having this truck just confirms why I've never wanted one. But for minor issues like changing a damn taillight, they've kept it for 3 days. THREE DAYS! For a scheduled appointment. Had it over a week for an oil change and to change the tires. Never changed the tires because "yeah man, our tire machine is broke and no idea when it'll be fixed". Every time they don't get the work done they come up with some BS excuse. But again - fleet vehicle and I don't pay for repairs so I kept coming back. These are just a few examples. But management at that location needs to wake up and pay attention to the reviews they're getting online instead of disputing a bunch of them, because the low reviews of their service department are legit. Couldn't tell you how the sales people are because even if I ever did buy a GM product for my personal vehicles, I'd never shop there.

I brought my car here for a simple oil change and unfortunately had a couple little issues after I left. The service, wait time, and experience at the dealership were all as to be expected... the person I worked with directly appeared to be professional and knowledgeable. However, I then went home and realized I didn't have my paper report in hand. And one of my headlights was suddenly out! So I had to call and ask... "What showed up as a problem on your inspection?" -- and then drive back out so they could fix the headlight (which was not a problem until the oil change). Too bad they didn't catch this and fix it while I was actually there for the job. But in the end, it turned out resolved.
