Went in to the store like normal, where I've gone many times and had previously received good help. Sunday's visit however, was horrible, by a person who claimed to be the only manager (who gave me name of "Joseph"). He literally started screaming, ranting, raving,and walking in crazy circles. Other customers, the other employee (Rod), and I all just looked at each other and were all seriously thinking this guy was unhinged. It was like one of these crazy people on airplanes you see on the news who just starts screaming. I asked him to use his code reader on my car (like other normal sane employees have done for me several times in the past) to check for a code related to the dashboard indicator. He asked me if the check engine light was on and I said no, and told him it couldn't be on because my car (and many cars now) do not have such a light. I told him my car has information screen instead, and there was a message in words on the screen to check the tire system. He was very rude and arrogant and said he wasn't checking for a code. The other employee (Rod) was normal and wanted to help me and said he would get the code, so I waited in line about 15 more minutes and when it was my turn, Joseph started screaming again and told me that Rod was not allowed to help me and I should leave the store. Rod apologized and looked at me with remorse (like a normal person) and said "I can't go against my boss". Then I said "oh, so Joseph is your manager here...well I see the problem now". I left the store, as Joseph kept screaming rude nasty things across the store, as I exited the doors. It was clearly a person with mental issues and very sad. I took the car to the dealer and they read the code using a code reader, just like I said would be the case. I sometimes go by AutoZone prior to going to the dealer to get an idea of the code that has been stored because it's easier than making an appointment with the dealer. Also, I like to research the situation prior to going to the dealer so I'm educated on the parts and repair that could be involved, based on the code being read, and whether it might be something simple I could do myself. I was exactly correct and the code was stored and recalled by the dealer while I watched them show me the code. The supposed "manager" at this AutoZone store should not be in a position to refuse service and scream and yell at a regular customer (whom will now go elsewhere). I contacted AutoZone corporate and they sent me one email that someone would contact me, but so far I haven't gotten any additional email correspondence.

What happened was about 3 months ago. I'd say it was Randy but I could be wrong on the name. Short and bald or short hair. Service was horrendous and words were exchanged. Lost a customer and my family has never stepped foot in any Autozone since that day.I was on my Harley and my front tire felt different as I was riding so I pulled into Autozone because it's Autozone. I walked in and wanted to check my front tire pressure which would have taken 15 seconds. Your employee told me that he had no tire gauge for me to use but I could buy one. I said "sir, I have 10 of these spread throughout my cars and my house." Coincidentally, they were bought from Autozone over the years because that's where my whole family shopped. I'll reiterate that I was on my motorcycle with 2 wheels and I prefer to be as safe as possible while traveling. I told him that this company lends out equipment to check battery's and check engines and you can't lend me a tire gauge for 15 seconds." I left and I did walk back in with a massive attitude because that is complete junk. How dare him deny me a tire gauge to use for my safety and the people around me. Words were flown back and forth. Lost of swear words and customers and employees were there to witness it all. We were hardcore Autozone until this day and he cost this company thousands since that day because I went elsewhere and bought brakes, calipers, and rotors the next day for 2 of my cars along with other parts over the next couple of months. He might have had a bad day but it's no excuse. Lose the attitude and bring customers in. You shouldn't work in the service industry. Look at the cameras if they go back that far and you will see everything that happened.Service/retail industry.You know what I mean.

I came in to AutoZone completely distraught over my car being broke down Travis hooked the diagnostics up because my engine light was on and did the diagnostics on it He was SOOO KIND and patient with me as I didn’t understand which coil was causing the problem he went above and beyond to help me get the correct coil and all the other things I would need for my mechanic to fix the problem I GIVE TRAVIS not 5 but 10 STARS He’s AMAZING

This place sucks,bought a gasoline jug,it leaked big time took it back but they wouldn't give me a refund because I had put gasoline it.No warning signs about this,lesson learned the hard way.

I was here 2x in 2 weeks for different needs and different vehicles. Both times, the employees were helpful and kind. Yesterday I came to get a new battery in my son's car. It was disgustingly hot out, and the gentleman who helped me make the purchase also put the battery in. We had a friendly chit-chat as he was changing the battery out, surely sweating miserably, and he still had a genuine smile on his face. Top notch service, fantastic kind employees.

Went to test a battery and purchase a new one was told by the associate, "I can't do it go to a dealership." So I went to the Walmart in the same parking lot and the associate informed me that the Autozone employee was, "being lazy and didn't want to deal with it." The Walmart associate tested the battery and replaced it in 25 minutes. Autozone was my auto part place of choice, no longer unfortunately.

Placed order online for pickup went to go pick up the parts I paid 230 dollars for already I get there they said they didn’t have my order and it got sent to troy even though the receipt shows the ofallon address where it says pick up from store the manager was very rude says they can’t do anything for me beside charge me again for more parts if I want anything from his store and to regardless drive to Troy for a refund or pick up parts he did look in the system and all parts are in stock at this location and shows this is the store I paid and to pick up from
