Honestly it's impressive how cheap Aldi's is even to this day. Great prices for most of your grocery needs if you aren't picky. Just remember to bring a quarter and your own bags as they do require a quarter to put into your cart and they don't supply bags

Newsflash, people pay for their groceries with cash. Sounds silly, I know, but when you’re becoming over reliant on self check out machines that accept only card, and the cashiers are nowhere to be found in the building, it makes it very, very difficult to purchase your groceries, we just abandoned our cart and went to Schnucks next-door, and got less for our money.

We really like Aldi. We stop at an Aldi most every weekend. Their produce selection is good and their prices are better than other grocery stores. They have a nice selection of European items from chocolates to beer and wine. Some of the brands may not be recognizable, but the quality is top notch on the ones that we have tried. The newer self checkout lanes are a real plus for getting in and out quickly.
