This museum is great for all ages! The amount of detail embedded throughout every part of this museum is amazing - a truly immersive experience. The museum provides copies of the books in (or near) each exhibit so the book can be read while immersed in the exhibit. I highly recommend this museum to everyone.

It was a wonderful experience. They have done an incredible job creating themed exhibitions for our favorite children's books. There are some areas to carefully explore and interact with but it is not an amusement park or playground so please be respectful and follow the rules. There is a bookstore and more exhibit areas and a restaurant are planned to open up soon. 5/5 experience.

Planned a day trip there with my family and my son woke up with a fever. They refuse to refund or reschedule our trip. Im very disappointed. We tried to call all day before our scheduled time and no one would answer the phone. We left several messages and no one would return the call. We were able to get ahold of them the next day and they said there is nothing they can do. It doesn't say they dont give refunds when purchasing tickets, but it does say to review their policies, so theres that. Now between the families we are out over $100, that might not be much to some people but it it to us. My kids were very excited to go and now they wont be able to. Thanks alot.

Will not be going back! The fact that the bathrooms are all open with no separation from men/women was an absolute shock upon arriving. I absolutely DID NOT feel comfortable taking my children to the bathroom with men in the same wide open space. And no, they are not floor to ceiling stalls but normal stalls that anyone could easily peek over the top or through the gaps in the stalls. It was also confusing to walk through when you first go in, we had no idea where to start and had to ask for help. Guidance should be given.

It cost $64 for 4 people and only 1 floor is open. 2nd floor not accessible. Art is super super amazing. Really top notch work, but it only takes about an hour to see everything (depending on if you read all the books). The value is not there for price....yet...it will get there but it's not there yet.The bathrooms are just.. open....and while several places are doing this now (that's not the issue) the real issue is the stalls are not sealed up private. Anyone can see or reach under or do whatever to be able to see you doing whatever in the stall. I'm talking in the stall, there is about a foot gap at the bottom of the walls between each other. Picture mr creeper next to a young kid and he takes his cell phone out. Not cool. You need to protect people. I told them, and I'm telling the public. It needs fixed asap. This place has fantastic potential, it's just not there yet.

Visually magnificent! The team who created Rabbit Hole are without a doubt masterfully creative and innovative! Surreal and exciting to see so many storybooks come to life with the ability to jump inside!Went here on a Thursday morning with a 4 and 2 year old. My 4 year old was excited, but disappointed with how few of the “exhibits” were interactive. I wouldn’t recommend anyone over the age of 5 coming here, unless they have a tender spot for one of the books.

We enjoyed our trip to The Rabbit Hole. It was an interactive experience the children enjoyed. I won't post too many pics bc it recently opened. Piece of advice. You will lose sight of your children in some of the tunnels. If you have multiple children you may want to take a partner to help. I cant skip the restroom situation. Let's just say the Public Restroom is very public.

Even I, a middle aged man, cackled with delight as we descended into the Rabbit Hole. I will not spoil the surprise but you and your children will fall in love with this museum. We are fortunate in KC to have such visionaries build a place like this. And there are hints all over the museum that they are far from finished in creating this masterpiece.

Sadly this is not a safe place for neurodivergent children & their families.Visited one day and were greeted with a ‘Yes Space’ vibe (like City Museum in STL). Visited another day to have my kindergartener berated by an owner. The justification was accusing us of breaking something, but that absolutely did not happen. Tried and tried to clear things up by having a calm reciprocal conversation, but the owner wouldn’t allow me a chance to speak. My family left in tears. They have every right to set and uphold limits but vague & nuanced isn’t it when it comes to little kids. Young children need consistent & clear boundaries, especially those with regulation challenges. Regardless it’s absolutely unacceptable for them to shame a child.

This imaginative and immersive space awakens wonder! My 7 year-old daughter and 81 year-old mother-in-law were both so excited to dive into the different spaces, and stopped to read at least three different books. The colorful and thoughtful spaces invite you to discover (or reconnect with) different books … I kept wondering, what am I not noticing / seeing because I don’t (yet) know this book? It made me want to read. Looking forward to going back as they add more over the coming months and years!

A one of a kind experience!! You walk into a storybook wonderland that is fun for the whole family! Each exhibit comes with the book so you can read the stories to your little ones. There are so many areas for kids to crawl and climb. I'm so excited to come again and for their future events they hold!

The detail put into each exhibit is incredible! It felt surreal and so nostalgic to see these books brought to life. We discovered many stories new to us as well as ones we know and love. Can't wait to see what the second floor includes! The more books you recognize, the more fun it will be, in my opinion, because you can appreciate the different aspects they included. One of the great things about this space is that they include a few copies of each book by the exhibit so you can read it there. It was sweet to see kids and grownups alike sitting down to read throughout the museum. Families with avid readers will love it!Of note, strollers are not allowed and there's some exhibits unfinished. There are also tunnels and it's a big space so if you have multiple kids, you may want a second adult to come along. Its somewhat pricey especially if you have a big family but I think it'll be more worth the cost once the main floor is completed and storytime/maker spaces begin.

I attended the party last night was delighted to see what’s been accomplished so far. The “Bus Ride” was magical! The concept is clever, and the fact that this particular exhibit is mobile and can visit schools, libraries, etc. is inspired. The workers obviously enjoy being there. I can’t wait to see the finished Rabbit Hole!
