I’m always treated like I’m their only patient, when I’m at NKCH, whether it’s for tests or a treatment.

From pre-surgery until time of release , NKC hospital has the most compassionate knowledgeable caring staff who go above and beyond for their patients, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else for my surgeries.

On March 15th we got in quickly and staff was nice but felt more could have been done in treating my son's pain and could of cleaned his wound better.

For a stay in the hospital, I could not be happier. I was already happy with this hospital for how they treated my mother for many years. And then now I have had to stay there for five nights. All of the staff is outstanding. A special shout out to the nurses and texts on the 8th floor a couple of weeks ago. When you are a patient, trapped in a bed and a room, your nurse and the technician are your everything. They are the oh so dependable visitor, the cheerleader, the one or ones who are always there looking out for you. And the ones that took care of me were absolutely wonderful. I will continue to use this hospital and recommend it as long as I experience this kind of care and hear about the same for my friends and family.

Received excellent care from the surgeon, his support staff, and all the nurses and techs during my stay. Great quality food from the cafeteria. The only disappointment was when I went to take a shower before I left, the shower was not clean. Hair on the drain and floor, soap and shampoo globs on the wall and floor from the previous patient.I would go back to NKC hospital and recommend them to everyone.

Over all the care provided was below average average for the most part.My biggest complaint would be their billing. Up front they collect your complete out of pocket for the year before admitting you. So you would assume this would cover everything. It is money they should not have collected because they are not going to pay the other providers involved. So you will still have to pay everyone else and hope you get your money back from the hospital. To top if off they can't even bill the insurance company correctly. Gave insurance company wrong tax ID number billed for out patient not impatient. So currently they are correcting while all other bills are headed to collections. I will never go to this hospital again. Should have gone to KU Med

Overall experience was flawless. Especially the staff in the 5th floor (urology). Day nurses Denee & Arli and night nurses Moses and Katie were awesome! They all should receive special kudos and recognition. All very kind and professional. Made the hospital stay very comfortable. Thank you to all of them and Dr. Horwitz.

Sent to ER by family practitioner based on symptoms. Staff is fast, qualified and professional. While identifying the pneumonia, an additional health concern surfaced that will require additional visits. Facility is clearly marked to facilitate navigate. Easy, adequate and convenient parking facilities. Spent five days in hospital on 5th floor of the Main Hospital building, which is one of the few floors in the hospital that allows dog visitation. Our rescue Labrador was able to "visit" on Sunday (slower day) with stipulation that she had to be on a leash and room door kept closed. Very appreciated benefit. Very happy, overall, with patient care on the 5th floor! Submitted several "Wow!" nominations for outstanding staff.
