Great experience, friendly owners! Ordered the vinyl I was looking for because it wasn’t in stock. Provided guidance on the best way to find parts for my record player. Will always check here first when needing a vinyl!

This is such a nice vinyl record store! They had a huge selection of new arrivals and classic artists. I feel like everything was also fairly priced. It didn't seem too outlandish even for the new arrivals. Everything was organized by genre then alphabetically, so it was fairly easy to sift through the rows of records. The gentlemen who helped us was super kind. He even offered to play anything before buying it.

Don't miss this one! Absolutely charming old school record store unassumingly tucked away in North Kansas City.Located one block south of Armour and Swift on 18th Ave, in a tan stucco flat front across from the Oxbow Apartments. There are a few parallel parking spots out front, and additional parking is available one block west off Clay Street.Small, warm, and chock full of vinyl that has been methodically organized. They have all the classics plus endless deep cuts that will keep you browsing for hours. The owner is friendly and helpful, and is more than happy to help you discover hidden gems you might have missed. Prices range depending on album availability, with new or rare pressings costing around $25, and a lot to choose from for less than $10. There's a small room filled with CDs, and they have a ton of fun novelty items like locally made candles and artwork. The selection is always changing as new items are added. If you like vinyl, you must check out FM.

Have been in a few times for local events they've participated in but today was the first time I was in to shop. My dad recently started using his record player and I had a list of ideas to look for gifts. Not only did they walk me around to find what was available on the list, but he asked if he could take a picture of my list to order items in so he'd have them next time someone asked. He really went above and beyond especially since I'm not a regular or someone who he can assume will be back. Now we will definitely be back though!
