I've stayed here several times when visiting grand kids in nixa with no issues. Was clean for motels age. But this time I booked a room and was paid in advance. Then at check in clerk demanded a $100 deposit for incidentals. I've never heard of this before. Then she wanted cash. I said hell no im not handing cash over. Since my room was prepaid and non refundable. I finally agreed to use CC to over the deposit. The money was charged to my card 5 seconds after I swiped card. But at check out I was told it could take 1 to 2 weeks for it to go back on my card. I had difficulty understanding clerks lack of English speaking. It was my last stay at super 8 in nixa MO.

DO NOT STAY HERE!Owner refused to honor my wyndam diamond status for upgrade because I wouldn't pay for the upgrade despite the free upgrade being clearly listed as a perk in wyndahm rewards. He called me cheap and canceled my room altogether and said he was add me to the "ban" list.Owner is a scam artist.

Only stayed one night but rooms were clean, nice pillows, front staff very friendly. No complaints for basic hotel.

Walk up to front desk and person is on a phone call on her cell phone. Is so engaged in that cell phone call she can’t sit it down for 2 minutes and focus on customer in front of her.Sad part is my impression was she was on phone with owner and she is afraid to tell him to hold on while she helps a customer.

Very clean, good staff, easy to find.The bed was way too hard for me and fine for my husband. The breakfast way pretty good, eggs would have been good, waffles were great!Would stay again except the bed was too hard for this princess.

The rooms were large enough to store our bikes overnight, and the park across the street provided lots of entertainment for our children. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and quiet, the price was very good. The breakfast breakfast quality varied somewhat depending on which staff member prepared it. But I will stay there again.

Everybody there was very nice and the maids were extra special to take care of your room the whole facility was very comfortable and nice I would stay there many more timesRooms: The rooms are nice guys has everything in it that you need very clean smells really good I very much liked itSafety: I was downstairs so everything was safe the doors had good locks on them she wouldn't have to have anybody breaking in I felt very comfortableWalkability: Fast food restaurants regular restaurants bars grocery stores everything was in walking distance

I attempted one of the alternative travel sites for a last minute room after I found out we would be unable to stay with our friend do to a family member emergency. So, with limited choices and the alternative site only wanting to process our request if we would opt for multiple convenience up fees, I stopped in to personally request a room. The hour was around 8 pm. To say the least, I was most pleased with the results. She gave us a great deal, much less than the online deal. She gave us an additional AAA discount. She was most pleasant and gracious. She looked up our prior stays and updated our customer record.Good job !!!

Let me preface my review by saying this is just a two-star hotel. That being said, I was somewhat surprised. I was expecting a bed bug infested, rusted out bathroom fixture kind of place. Instead, what I found was a clean, comfortable, quiet hotel. The decor is a bit dated. Most hotels are going with a pure white motif for bedspreads and wooden or tile styled floors. This place has some really dark fabrics and carpet. Those are just what I'm used to seeing these days.I have two real complaints. One is about accessibility. This hotel is not truly accessible. Anyone in a wheelchair would definitely have trouble getting into the manual front door which must be pulled open to gain entrance. I do not believe it could be done by someone in a wheelchair, traveling on their own. Also, the lack of an elevator is a problem. In my opinion, anyone with bags needs assistance going up the stairs, and an elevator is a must. If you have mobility issues, the only way to assure an accessible room is to request one. It is not clear from Wyndham's website that if you have mobility issues you must ask for an accessible room to assure one. There is no mention of the lack of an elevator.Secondly, the amount of light leaking in at the windows from the parking lot lights was excessive. I didn't know if it was night or day outside from the amount of light leaking into the room from around the drapes.Noteworthy details: No elevator here

I travel over 100 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly, a friendly staff! My room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. All the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, in room coffee and small refrigerator. The hotel does have a luggage cart. My air conditioner/heater worked quite well. The television had a great selection of channels and a good picture. The bathroom was very clean, no mold or mildew. There is an outdoor pool, a public computer. No fitness room that i saw, but a guest laundry is available. The breakfast area was clean and certainly adequate. There are vending machines near the lobby, also a soda machine at the far end of the ground floor. The snack machine takes cards, but bring cash as the soda machines do not. There are several restaurants and a Walmart with a quick drive, and a city park directly behind the hotel. A very quiet and pleasant three nights. Great job!
