I met Mr. Ben today at Elite Automotive. He was excellent, professional, patient, listens the first time, answers questions, he didn't rush me in communication or talk over the top of me. I walked in the door so exhausted from my overbusy week. I have an injury where I have speech and conversation limitations and I was already exhausted to the max for the week, so just doing another conversation was taxing for me. I just did my best but my car repairs to discuss had many very detailed conversation to convey and I was doing my best while exhausted to the wall and my injury hurting. Usually places interrupt, talk over the top of someone or are too busy to listen and I was just conveying facts. Mr. Ben listened the first time, and was patient through all of my details. He didn't know about my injury or my exhausting week and just trying to find an auto shop. He is professional but friendly, approachable and patient, and he listens the first time. Please that's not easy to find! It drives me crazy when people don't listen or talk over the top of me. Not once did I have to repeat anything. I'm floored to find someone who actually listens. He's also honest. And as tiring as their busy weeks are, on a Friday, he still listens and helps the last customers in his door for the week. I saw him treat everyone nicely today. I'm privileged to be able to give this positive feedback and can personally recommend them to be honest and do their best for people. I had a million honest questions for him and he answered them all. It drives me crazy when people don't listen especially when talking causes me pain with my injury. I expected to be interrupted, rushed, not listened to. But that never occurred. Straight forward good business with friendliness even though it was the end of his busy week. You just don't find good people in business every day and honest people. I can personally recommend Mr. Ben with Elite automotive. I live two hours one way from the shop, and I will drive there for oil changes and any repairs.

I took my car in to get a inspection and they said i had a bad ball joint, my car was fine before i got there, but after there was something wrong with it... Not going there again

Please Read this!! My husband was in from out of town, his truck broke down we had it fixed with them they instructed me it would be best to pay cash instead of card payment several times because of the 3% credit card fee. So we did as they said, three months later our truck broke down from the same problem, they did not want to honor the warranty for parts or the work. It cost us $2500 to fix the same problem again on top of the $1800 cash we had already paid them, we had to fight with them relentlessly just to listen to us, they ignored our repeated text and calls and did not want to help us whatsoever, I do not recommend this place, please go somewhere else and save yourself a headache and money. Go somewhere that they will honor their warranty!!! Warranties are a big deal and honesty is a big deal as well and if you choose not to keep your word or your warranty you don't need to be in business. The manager and owner dodged our calls, texts and when we went by the shop they somehow were "never available". I've previously experienced warranty issues on a different vehicle at another shop, I've never had a shop turned me down to repair or reimburse me for failed work or parts but this shop do not trust them... they will give you every excuse in the book and ignore you, be warned go somewhere else. Completely disappointed!!

I called and needed in last minute to see what was wrong with my car. They squeezed me and spent an hour checking everything. Didn’t come out w crazy bid of what was needed. Will definitely be back if I ever need anything on any of my vehicles. 5 star rating all the way

I have been a customer of Elite for several years. My wife and I both have older vehicles. They do all of our maintenance and repairs. They are very honest and have saved me a lot of money. Ben is great and they honestly do care about their customers. Everyone has a bad experience once and a while and when that happens they will do everything to make it right.

Took my car for a state inspection a while back, and they failed my car, claiming the power steering hose was leaking. My usual mechanic took a look at it and said it was not leaking. There was very little seepage, but not a fail worthy leak. We took it to a different inspection station, and of course, it passed. Over a year later, and the seepage is so small that I haven't even needed to top the fluid off. On top of that, they overcharge for things compared to some other shops in the area.

PLEASE READ THIS! If you would have asked me 4 months ago about Elite Automotive, I wouldn't have been able to speak highly enough of them. I would have told you “They are absolutely the best shop in the Nixa area!†However, it is unfortunate that I now have to give Elite Automotive even one star in order for me to write a review, because sadly they don't even deserve the one star. After 3 years of service and nearly 6,000 dollars, Elite Automotive decided to turn their back on me and not honor a warranty that was paid for through them. The clutch and transmission went out while I was travelling through Georgia, so I rented a U-Haul to TOW MY CAR TO THEM for their services. I paid them to put a clutch, and transmission in, but when I drove it from their shop, the clutch was extremely jittery and rough. So much so that it would lurch forward and even stall out. They said “Just give it a week or so to set itself in…†two weeks later and it's no better. They blamed it on the parts. By this time I am in Mobile AL and I blow a head gasket. I had an engine rebuild with them back in 2017 which is well within my 3 year warranty and the mileage on warranty. I now live in Florida, so I towed my vehicle with a U-Haul once again, only this time back home. I notified Elite, and they instructed me to find a certified mechanic in Florida diagnose the head gasket and the damage that was done from it. After diagnosing the problem, the mechanic in Florida said that the only way the head gasket could have blown to this extent was from the head gasket simply giving out from the rebuild. Elite Automotive refused to believe this, and instead kept looking for ways to weasel out of honoring their warranty. My car sat in the shop for almost 2 months while they dug around trying to find evidence against me in order to void the warranty. They finally they came to the conclusion that it was somehow “My fault†and refused to honor the warranty let alone help me in anyway. I mentioned the clutch again and them said “sorry that's not something that we can help you with either…†I have had 3 other certified mechanics look at the clutch and every single one of they said “They shouldn't have let you drive away with your clutch like that… they didn't surface the fly wheel properly and they didn't install it correctly.†I have since tried for weeks to get in touch with the owner, Adam, but have still not received a single call. I have tried to be as civil and understanding throughout this whole experience, as I have hoped they would see where they fell short of helping a loyal customer. Unfortunately for them, I now have an attorney investigating the situation, and I'm sure will be contacting them shortly. I am not going to tell you where to spend your money. All I am asking is that you realize how this situation played out for me, and that you understand that this could regrettably be you one day too.

Cliff the “mechanic†was absolutely rude. Asked him to place my towel over my driver's seat before he got in with his shop clothes on. He ignored me. Told me my proportioning valve was leaking. It doesn't. Asked him if everything looked okay at inspection. He said “not today†and walked away. Elite gets no more of my money!

Both of our vehicles needed some repairs this summer and we weren't sure where to take them. We are so happy that we found Elite Auto. They are the best! Trace is friendly and informative about what is wrong and how much the repairs will cost. They are very accommodating and get the repairs done fast. Their work is guaranteed and done right the first time. Thanks Elite Auto for taking care of us this summer. It's good to have someone we can trust!
