Richard's team has maintained my vehicles for years. I have taken him vehicles for repairs / inspections / troubleshooting / referrals and just about everything in between. He and his wife, have always been honest, straight forward, and fair with me.
They don't try to sell you something you don't need. A number of times they've told me "We can do this repair now, as it will need to be done, but it is fine if you want to wait a while - there isn't a safety issue"
As Nixa has grown, his shop has gotten busier, so there is usually a wait before he can get to your vehicle, but he is worth the wait.
There are a number of good auto shops in our area, but in my opinion, Are Lee is the best.

Wonderful repair shop that gets it done at very reasonable rates. And quick too! Convenient to south Springfield and Nixa. I have an old Jeep and they are keeping it on the road for me.

Good prices and an awesome guy. I will take my 85 Silverado there anytime. First place I had my truck looked at, they wanted 1,300.00$ for the parts and labor... Richard fixed my problem, check the rest of the brakes to make sure it's safe for my kids to be in the truck, plus an oil change under 400.00$.

My older model SUV was leaking. New to the area, I relied on online reviews. I wanted a local mechanic who could solve my issues and not charge me an arm and a leg. Richard took a look and provided me with lower cost options to keep my car working and the fee was minimal. Very happy and grateful!!

I called to see if they could look at my car and tell me what was wrong. Richard said to come over then. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and fixed the problem. I feel like he’s honest and trustworthy. Will use him in the future. Service: alternator

I was told by another mechanic that my truck was going to need new plugs and coil packs. I was directed to here by several people, and for good reason. After getting in there, they determined that I didn’t actually need to replace the coil packs, but just the spark plugs. They also noticed the one of my fuel injector plugs was faulty and replaced it for me as well. It cost me significantly less than what I had been quoted from the other shop. It hasn’t driven this good in quite some time, and I will be making them my new stop for any, and all, of my automotive needs. The honesty factor alone deserves 10 stars if I could give them. I couldn’t possibly recommend them highly enough!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This shop is an absolute joke I took my vehicle to this clown to have it diagnostic To find out that this guy did not know what he was doing Whenever I found out that he had misdiagnosed my vehicle I called him out on it and he didn't want to do anything other than get me off the phone this shop is an absolute joke do not take your vehicle here If I could give them less than one star I would
