“My fiancé and I showed up to our tour of Sunflower Hill Farm with the understanding that this venue may be outside of our budget for our 2025 wedding. But, the moment we met and spoke with Freyja, my outlook changed. She gave us an amazing tour of the grounds, air bnb, and venue spaces. We absolutely fell in love with Freyja and with Sunflower Hill Farm. It’s beautiful, quiet, picturesque location is perfect, no matter what the season. The little details of the farm is what got me: the cats, the chickens, the gorgeous venue area…it’s so perfect. Freyja worked with us from the beginning to craft an event that would fit our budget perfectly. We left that day with a date reserved. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have our wedding at Sunflower Hill Farm! A huge thank you to Freyja and her amazing staff for making my wedding dreams come true.”

“Byron was such a fun sommelier. On 3/23/24, I had so much fun! Great atmosphere, tasty wines, 5 tastings for $8- amazing!! If I lived here, I'd be in trouble.”

“The grounds of the winery were beautiful and the wine flight were tasty. The staff serving us was friendly.5⭐️ experience except for the food which was overpriced and underwhelming. The pizza was disappointing. What was on the menu as “shredded chicken pizza” consisted of some weird Tyson pre cooked chicken cut into spongy chunks, not shredded. On a premade cracker crust it wasn’t worth the $20+ price point. The chips we got were past expiration. Maybe next time I’ll bring my own food.”

“It was okay. I thought the kids play area was going to be bigger but my kiddos still had fun. The only other thing was the other bigger kids pushing around my smaller kids, and I had to get onto those kids. Wish there would have been staff to help out a little.Food was okay too. The kids ate the corn dogs with fries but said the fries were too hard so they didn't eat much of those.”

“The winery is romantic, even in the middle of winter. Many lights with reflection of the lake make the winery truly memorable. Their main dining area is also very nice with a fireplace and several windows looking toward the lake. The wine and food are delicious. The only downside that we experienced was wait time, including our check. The restaurant was severely understaffed and it seemed that, literally, there was only one waitress with a few others trying to help with service. However, overall, it was a wonderful night.”

“Today was a beautiful day, I had the privilege of being there today by myself. I enjoyed the special treatment, and half bottles Wednesday. I will be back next Wednesday with some special friends and family. I’m thankful to the Lord for allowing me to have such a wonderful place 18 minutes away from my home.”

“I attended a smaller yet intimate private birthday party. I had driven by this place a couple of years ago but never had been inside the property before.What a delightful venue! It was an evening gathering at dusk and it was simply stunning!From the moment driving into this place you notice the grounds were impeccable and can see that the order in this place is top notch thought out and executed so well! This all has to be done by a pretty wonderful, talented , hard working and well put together team! You just feel so excited about what you aren't even sure you are about to experience!The service is second to none, from the moment you are greeted, while waiting for the party to begin and through the meal and even when leaving to go to your vehicle!Definitely go if you want a refreshing spot to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday, a promotion, a 'just because I want to'! ?Carl (the owner) has created this incredible option for all of the communities in that area!Two very nice things I overheard at dinner:-"this place makes me wanna propose to my girlfriend so we can get married here!"- "this is THE best meal I've had here so far!" (This was the 3rd time that person had been there). He did say the others were good but this one just top of the leaderboard!I notice they do several concerts and events throughout the year, I hope to go and explore more of the property, food and good company!”
