It was good but nothing like the past was lot more fun and the festival made a lot more money you took the tracker pull out you keep taking the things away people came out to see we don't think it will be around much longer

My granddaughter won the queen pagent and Miss Congeniality this year which was held here. The community does a good job with their sports programs in New Melle.

The New Melle Festival was just starting when we arrived. Hubby had to have World Famous Gizzards. He reported that they were good but a bit on the salty side. The fries were good. We didn't stick around but folks were flocking in. The rides looked fun.
To promote the civic spirit and general welfare of the community and to provide opportunities for youth to participate in athletic activities and competitions while developing good sportsmanship, leadership skills and self esteem.
Opportunities for learning, building self-esteem, leadership development, good sportsmanship and much more abound at NMSR. These values are at the forefront of all we teach in our programs.
