“I went to Nevada to pick up my roommate because his starter went out on him. We stopped here to get ice and drinks for the ride back to KC. I don't go in, but my roommate says it's a great place. I think he knows the owners lol.”

“This is a great gas station, almost all the clerks are wonderful. Except the one that works mornings during the week . She is always very rude and on her phone constantly. Regardless, if she's got an air present or not, I worked in customer service 3540 years almost and let me tell you something that is the most disrespectful thing you can do I've never worked somewhere where it was OK to be on your phone during work hours it was always on your break when you go to clock, because regardless, with it being an air peace, she still talking to people on the phone not her customers others have noticed should I rude anybody who is not family of her close friend I am not the only one who's at issues with her I've met more than 29 people in this town have a severe issue with her because she's so rude I'll care for while. Maybe it's time to look at customer service instead of if she gets things done or not because your customers are the reason you're in business”

“Currently sitting on the toilet waiting for my friend to come in and hand me toilet paper because my stall is out. Other than that, great candy/snack options and the bathrooms are clean but maybe just double check the toilet paper levels before peeing.”

“It’s a pilot half paid half free parking this is also my home town I come to the pilot often. People complain on parking but thing is it’s a place to park there is parking as well at the Walmart behind the pilot! Sometimes place is understaffed because it is located in a town of 8,000. So expect possible waiting at night somewhat at the counter. Bathrooms are somewhat average-clean for a truck stop showers there are 3 available just pay and shower. This truck stop is friendly and I have come here for home time at least 8-9 times. No issue!”

“Just want to give a shout out to this little convenience store right off 49 highway in Nevada, MO. I stopped there on my way home from the lake this past weekend and the friendliest employee ever (blond hair, facial piercings - I wish I'd gotten her name!) asked me if I was a nurse. I stated that I was & asked her how she knew that (I had no badge, wasn't dressed in scrubs, etc.) and she stated I just had that "nurse face." She continued to thank me profusely for what I do, and mentioned that they support all first responders. She also gave me my soda for free!! She was the epitome of customer service! If you're rolling through Nevada, MO & need gas, a snack, or anything else, stop at the Tobacco Shack! It may not look like much but they will have whatever you need plus a friendly smile!!”
