This is the only mechanic in town I will ever take my vehicles. Every unfortunate time I’m a customers Kendall takes care of me. Honest, hard working, and dedicated to his craft. Always professional, and goes out of his way to earn my business. I’ve had some bad experiences over the years with other mechanics and when I found this little shop I felt like I finally found a home for my mechanical needs. Don’t trust anyone else, This is the best place when in need of repair.

Couldn't ask for better service!!! Went in expecting to spend an arm and leg with a few days to week or more wait on getting car back. Nope!! 4 dead mice, less then an hour later, and only 70 bucks!!! Thank you guys so much!!! Would recommend to any and everyone that needs auto service!!

Well they charged me the same price as putting a rack and Pinon in my truck as a dip stick that's one bolt that only calls for a 20min fix the kid that was working there round the bolt off and charged me for the the problem that he created which is un hered of just In experience played a major role just be careful because they tell u one price and when you get ther to pay for it its not what was quoted ? very disappointed John was not the one that worked on my vehicle

I got a tail light replaced by them they gave me a quote and an estimated time and finished earlier than expected they run an honest business with great service! They even gave me a ride back to my hotel so I wouldn't have to wait in the waiting room I recommend this business!

We were just passing through and our alternator went out. Bought a replacement at Oreily’s and tried to find someone that could replace it for us. These folks at Professional Grade Automotive were not able to take on the task but went way out of their way to help us find a shop that could replace it for us, charged the battery for us and then ended up towing us to the shop that would ultimately replace it for us. John Rutledge, his wife and their grandson are good, honest people that treated us like we were family. If you’re in the Mt Vernon area; you’re lucky to have this business and family as a great example of how to treat your neighbor.

While passing through Missouri, our car broke down. Thankfully we made it to the wonderful folks at Profesional Grade Automotive. Even though they were on their way to a funeral, they took the time to make sure we were safe. John charged our battery, John's wife brought out toys and books for my children to play with, and Kendall ended up towing us to a garage. They didn't end up fixing our car due to time constraints, but made sure that it would be fixed by another garage. This business is run by a wonderful family that is shining example of true human kindness. I cannot express how much I recommend Profesional Grade Automotive.
