I was quoted $460 for a new starter for a small lawn tractor, ended up getting a remanufactured unit for $175. Much more expensive than I saw online, but I wanted a quality part. After installing the new unit, I realize it didn't come with the nuts and washers required to connect all the electrical. So I had to pull it back out and make another trip out to get the missing pieces. Very frustrating experience. You'd think that after paying premium prices, you'd get a complete product. I think you'd be better off shopping online and saving a ton of money.
