I bought 2 tires off of Walmart.com and had them shipped to the Mexico, Missouri store. At the same time, still using Walmart.com, I set up the appointment for installation. A week later, (my receipt shows that I arrived at 7:23, but what actually happened was the crew for the tire center showed up at about 7:10. And after them clocking in, putting on their vests, etc, it was 7:23 when they checked me in) I arrived for my 7:00 AM appointment at about 6:45, and was happy to find out I was the first car to be serviced. At approximately 7:20 (20 minutes late to start with, and here's another fun fact, I got an email saying that they would hold my appointment time for15 minutes), they rolled my car in and that's when the real wait began. I completed my shopping and went back to the tire center only to find one of the two people who showed up for work that day standing in the shop playing with his cell phone. The other man was nowhere in sight. I made MULTIPLE laps through the store, periodically checking back into the auto center. I was never given any updates as to what was going on, why it was taking so long or anything else. In fact, very seldom did I find a person manning the counter. Remember, I WAS THE FIRST CAR TO BE SERVICED! Finally, at 8:41 (see attached receipt) I was able to check out. AN HOUR AND 40 MINUTES TO REPLACE 2 TIRES! Absolutely unacceptable. These types of problems aren't only happening in Mexico, Missouri. THINGS LIKE THIS ARE HAPPENING AT EVERY WALMART I'VE BEEN IN FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS OR SO. Sam Walton would be turning over in his grave if he saw what the current class of "management" is doing to his beloved company.
