Beautiful plus size gowns. More than anything though, the customer service is the true show stopper. Even with a very tight timeline, they worked dilligently to make sure my gown fit and would arrive in time for my cousin's wedding.

I had the opportunity to secure a gorgeous gown at a local boutique that came from Sydney's Closet and was designed by Johnathan Kayne. The color is superb, and I felt amazing in it, in addition to receiving so many compliments. Shopping as a plus-size woman is difficult, especially as an apple shape, and this ball gown more than made up for never having attended prom or homecoming when I was younger. Way to go, Sydney's Closet, for creating beautiful and inclusive dresses for women that haven't been able to shop in traditional formal wear boutiques! Shopping for a wedding dress during a stay at home order was challenging. I discovered Sydney’s Closet on my 5th dress. Unable to try any on in a retail store it was difficult to determine what style, size, embellishments, etc that I liked. With 2 weeks to go before the wedding and dresses 2 & 4 delayed due to the virus I found Sydney’s Closet and I dress I thought might work. I had it shipped overnight (because they are domestic they could!!!) and I fell in LOVE with this dress. It was too big so I quickly ordered the next size smaller. The next morning i received a call from Sydney’s Closet and the extremely kind and helpful young woman (I’m sorry in all the excitement I forgot her name) on the other end of the line wanted to make sure everything was ok. She had seen that my first order had been delivered only a few hours before my second order was placed. She talked me through my measurements and helped to make sure I had the correct size. She set up the return for the first order and ensured me that my second order would arrive promptly. Which it did. And it fit perfectly. Wedding is in 4 days and I am going to be a beautiful bride. Thank you Sydney’s Closet.

I can’t say enough great things about Sydney’s Closet. We got engaged right before COVID and decided to go through with our June wedding anyway. I found my dress at Sydney’s after 4 failed dress attempts with other retailers. Unable to try on wedding dresses due to the stay at home order I was hoping and praying with every dress order that it was the one. The incredible customer service and friendliness of the staff was icing on the cake. Thank you Sydney’s for helping to make our day special.

Talk about a miracle. Simply amazing! I partnered with Sydney's Closet for three back to back events that required formal wear on a tight turnaround. As a plus size young woman, I had nowhere to turn, where would I be able to find formal wear in my size that was beautiful and made me feel confident? I did a Google search and hoped for a blessing. "Plus size formal gowns near me"... Up popped Sydney's Closet. I called and was immediately connected with a representative.The pieces I chose were already beautiful on the website, but when I got them in the mail they had even better quality, fit and presence in person!!
