My windshield was first scheduled with Safelite for a repair through GEICO. The tech came out that Sunday no problem, saw it could not be repaired, easy peasy. Now the fun part. This was a FREE REFERRAL. I choose Safelite because I thought it was a company that had good reputation. Guess I was wrong. Scheduled the windshield replacement Monday, wife had to call off all day to be home for 12-5 scheduled. No show. No call. Next morning somehow the scheduled appointment was no where to be seen, and the customer care rep over the phone (not the st Louis office, they lied and said he was "running behind"). But this rep was shocked that somehow it disappeared. So rescheduled to today 12-5. Had to ask the boss if I could work from home just to be sure it gets done. Guess what. 6pm now, and no call, no show, and SOMEHOW the appointment disappeared. This is not how you treat customers. Next thing you know they are going to say sorry for the "technical issues". No. The issue is the field service mobile tech is somehow probably removing, so he doesn't come past 5. At this point Safelite should be paying me for loss wages, time, and patience. Let along glass repair companies are giving out 100$ cash back if you use them as your insurance replacement. Never again Safelite. Stay away if youre in the ST Louis area. I never write reviews, but this time I had too.

I needed my passenger regulator replaced for a 2016 Hyundai Tucson and they gave me an estimate so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with them. They told me that they needed to order the regulator and that it should arrive by the time I come in for my appointment. I arrived to my appointment only for them to tell me that the regulator had not come in yet. They didn’t even bother to let me know prior to my appointment. I call them a few days later for an update and they said it still hasn’t come and that they’ll give me a call when they get it.
Waited for their call and they never did. Ended up buying the regulator from Amazon and getting someone I know to fix it for me for way cheaper. Totally wasted my time waiting to hear back from them. Could have fixed my window way sooner.

The absolute worst service I have ever had! Not only did they screw me over not once but twice!!!. And they must have a virtual manager at the Maryland Heights location it’s funny how the manager is never available or they never call back! How is it that you still don’t have my windshield after the first appointment fell through and they called me to reschedule as if they had it in stock then I hear the day of the windshield still isn’t in!!! Some BS!!!!!!!! ???

This location may provide decent work, but you have to climb a mountain to get to that point. The person working the front desk, "Tammy", is incredibly rude, and extremely unhelpful to a point it feels intentional. I've never dealt with someone that was so wanting to be rid of a customer in my life. I will never return here, nor would I recommend anyone to come here. They ended up just cancelling my appointment, which I was there to check in for, when I informed Tammy she was not being very friendly or helpful. I hopped online to see if anyone else has had this experience, and the reviews tell you a lot about the quality of people they hire and the situations that have come from this location. Probably should've done the due diligence and checked that prior.

This is a review of mobile service provided by Safelite - this location is the closest to me and I was not able to get ahold of anyone when I called.
My windshield was replaced, but the technician had to take out the old windshield trim and did not have the parts to replace it. He stated Safelite would follow up to come out and finish the service/replace the trim within a week. Safelite never reached out. I have reached out several times, but it has been two months and the issue is not resolved.

Terrible. Unreliable. Way better options than Safelite in St. Louis. Choose one of the others unless you want to call off work, schedule your life around them coming and then have them cancel DAY OF on you.

unfortunate to see a lot of bad reviews. I thought my experience was great. the job was quality and my technician Jeff was kind and friendly. the front desk staff was also kind and helpful. For those of you who need a replacement window with calibration, please pay attention to the instructions. show up 15 mins before your appt. and have at least 3/4 of a tank of fuel and your tires properly inflated. don’t be like me and show up prepared!

This will be my last time I will be using safelight to replace my windshield. Minus the windshield being installed correctly they did a horrible job. As you can see from the pictures, the technician left an absolute mess on the dash board, failed to clean the inside of the windshield after it was installed, got grease on the door handle, and left an old part on the driver side floor board. He also scratched the inside of my A post, which now has to be replaced.
I went through my insurance company to have the windshield replaced and provided safe light with my claim number. I was told by Safelight I was only responsible for paying my $250 deductible. However, after the work was completed safelight instead charged me $962. Not sure why it’s so hard for people to do their jobs correctly anymore, but will never use this company again.

Zero way to contact them outside of their website. Phone number is an automated phone tree loop that tells you to visit their website. Will not do business with a company who will not value its customers with actual human interactions. I used them many years ago before all this internet-only automated nonsense, but it is clearly the end of an era.

Was able to make appointment online for early next day. Early drop -off available. Service was quick and replacement well done. They even saved and transferred tolltag & car registration sticker.

Called to get a quote and instead got an AI telling me to go to their website. If I were in front of my computer, I wouldn't be calling you. I won't be using your services because of this.

Did a GREAT JOB. was in and out with a new windshield in about an Hour.
Very nice people.
Don’t use the online order. Go look people in the eye. It’s to easy to just text.
And easy to ignore.
I always use face to face with anyone who works on my truck.

They had to come out twice. The first guy replaced the windshield but didn’t replace my wipers because one of the bolts were stripped he said. He was to come back out the next day but he never showed up. They sent another guy out to replace the wipers a few days later but he didn’t not fix the issue and now only one of my wipers are not working ( he was in and out in 3 minutes without checking his work). I’ll get that fixed on my own but they really need to work on their customer satisfaction.

After calling ahead of time for my first appointment, I was told that the windshield would have to be ordered as they didn’t have it in stock. Fine. They rescheduled me after they “received the glass” a week later. After driving 30 minutes to this location, dropping my car off and leaving, I get a call that they did not have the windshield in stock and there was no ETA on when they would be able to get it to replace the windshield. Complete waste of my time and wildly unprofessional. I don’t see any reason why I would reward them with my insurance company’s payment.
