I can see how the in-home wine tastings could be fun, but our experience wasn't great. Our consultant was late, refused to set up in the room we had prepared for her, reprimanded the group for laughing too much at one point more than halfway through the tasting, and used shady sales tactics at the end to oversell wine. The wines were fine and there weren't any I disliked, but you can find more affordable wines at local shops or Total Wine without getting hustled. The experience wasn't enjoyable, and I wouldn't recommend that consultant to anyone (Barbi with no e; the other consultant named Barbie seems to have great reviews).

Eric the wine guy is a phenomenal treasure. Takes the time to explain the wines, where they come from, and what to expect in your tastings. Over the years, he understands your wine preferences and will challenge your palate, without forcing his preferences on you.

My gf signed up to host a wine party for her friends a few years back and they had a blast. We've attended a few of their wine events at the warehouse and enjoyed them and have come away with some great wines. Barbie is great!

As always, I had a great time at PRP. The atmosphere is so casual and laid back and makes you feel welcome. Barbie Fleming is awesome! I cannot wait for the next event in October.
