Booked a room MONTHS ago and showed up to check in and the hotel is closed and condemned. We never received any notice about this so we were left scrambling to find a room last minute and then spent another 45 minutes trying to get refunded.

We booked our stay months ago to attend a concert. Had regular reminder emails about the reservation. We arrived to find the hotel is condemned and closed. The notice on the door said it had been shut down the month before! We had to scramble to find something else at the last second and ended up late to the show we’d spent $600 to attend. Do not book here!!

Received a call at 9:30pm 6.22 stating our reservation for the next day (6.23) was cancelled because the fire department shut the hotel down.

The worst hotel I've visited since I was young and didn't know better. Yes, they're doing renovations so there was construction junk here and there but that wasn't the problem. It was dirty and gross. The floors were all dirty, the elevator was dirty, our bathroom had someone's left over make-up towel wadded up in the corner, and gross personal stuff in the tub and toilet. Our door handle was broken. Half of the electrical outlets didn't work. The side door card readers didn't work. The hallways were dark. The chocolate milk in the cooler at breakfast had spoiled milk in it! The breakfast was terrible in every way. We were there four days and nothing changed, not even the board that gave today's weather and a fun cat fact. They also had lost our reservation when we arrived despite having a confirmation number to show them. Avoid this place in 2023.

Wow. My stay at this hotel was a nightmare. My husband and I travelled for a concert for our 25 wedding anniversary. We arrived at 10 minutes before 3:00 for a 3:00 check in time. While I stood in line for over an hour, I heard different people getting different stories on why they could not check in right away. When I got to the desk at about 4:00. I was told that I could not check in because my third party booking agency did not give me a confirmation number only an itinerary number, so he did not have my reservation (made 8 months ago), and that they were full. I sort of lost it bc i was exhausted. We had been in thr car for 7 hours and standing there for 1. all i wanted to do was maybe swim and eat before the concert. While I stood there calling my booking agency, a very nice employee (I wish I had gotten her name) was calling then also. At the same time, the people in line behind me who made their reservations directly through the hotel and did have confirmation numbers also did not have rooms in the computer. The hotel was being renovated and one whole floor was closed. All of a sudden some rooms appeared. My guess is that they were rooms on the closed floor that they opened up. Anyway, we got a room. No swimming, no food. We got chips from the gas station next door. As we headed out to the concert, there were still people waiting to check in. I don’t remember much else about the experience except for the waves of people who just wanted to check in. Our room had two beds and not one king we had reserved; but i was just happy to have a place to sleep that night. The two stars are for the wondeful girl at the front desk who did find my confirmation number even though it wasn’t in the HolInn computer, and for her help in getting me in one of the rooms. She is my hero. Hopefully, this hotel will improve after it’s renovations. It is in a wonderful location for a concert bc it is less than a mile to the concert venue. There might be a shuttle. We just walked.

Booked a room for a concert THREE months ago. They contact me ONE WEEK before to tell us the hotel is under construction and will have to cancel our reservation. I find this to be absolutely ridiculous and Im extremely disappointed with this type of service.

I made a reservation on March 15th, 2023 to attend a concert on June 25th. Today, June 24th, I received an email notification that my reservation was canceled. I called and spoke to IHG reservation associate who explained that the hotel overbooked. Mind you, I made this reservation 3 months ago. The best they could offer was a room several miles away and did not offer any compensation. I have been an IHG Gold Elite member for several years and travel often and always stayed at an IHG, never again. So be warned! This could happen to you too.

Did not honor our reservation AND charged us for rooms we couldn’t get. A crowd of people was waiting to check in and the restrooms in the lobby were out of order. Several who had reservations were turned away with no offer of assistance. Horrible place. The room we stayed in was dirty and the toilet didn’t flush right.Rooms: Dirty and broken fixtures.

The hotel cancelled our reservation before we arrived. 2 rooms booked and paid for since October. Finally ended up with 1 room for 4 people. Lobby was full of others with the same problem. Some were sent down the road to another hotel. Short staffing at the front desk. Property was under renovation and had messes everywhere. Terrible experience.

The hotel is under construction they don’t care about the smell of the glue or paint in any floors of the hotel. They didn’t clean the bathroom prior to turn over of the floors. There’s a glue substance in the bathroom and on the toilet. There’s no working smoke detector in the room either. The room is partially furnished with a bed and desk chair, no extra chairs unlike any other room I’ve been in. Overall the front desk doesn’t want to hear any issues. I wouldn’t recommend this property at all. Breakfast was sub par. As a IHG rewards Platinum member I won’t ever be coming back here.

1 star might be too high. The men’s bathroom on the main floor is leaking sewage water. The checking in part is a joke. 1 man running the whole place. I think he even cleaned the rooms. We booked a 1 king. Got. 2 fulls but after check in, no shot I was going back to fight about it. 3 people in front of us were given keys that didn’t work. So I considered us lucky our keys worked. I would not recommend this hotel.Walkability: Walked to Hollywood amp. Only high note

Booked this hotel for a concert. Upon arrival and check in there is one person running the entire hotel. If people have problems he had to stop checking people in and attend to them. Get into the room and it’s nice not too bad until we go to leave and there isn’t a door handle so we can’t get out of the room. Call the desk and he comes and lets us out and says they will have it fixed that night. Come back from the concert and it’s still not fixed. The next morning at 9am the guys wants to come and fix the door. We are still be in and haven’t even checked out yet. At this point you can’t just want a couple more hours.

Room 242 was dirty. There was no water pressure. Took 30 minutes to fill tub Could not take a shower because shower curtain was too short. Exhaust fan was very noisy and needed to be replaced. The TV would loose internet connection constantly. Phone did not work. Elevator got stuck once.The only good thing was the breakfast was better than most Holiday Inns.Will not ever stay there again!!!!

Overall this hotel gets a 4 which I feel is fair since it is being renovated. The rooms are older and do need repair, but the beds were comfortable and I'd rather stay at this location than only to sleep at a more expensive hotel. The breakfast could have been better, but I'd stay here again..

This hotel needs some love. You can tell that there is alot of traffic that comes through here. Everything is very used. Needs a massive overhaul. Staff on the other hand was incredible they are the only reason this review isn't 2 stars.
