“Pool Store the only place I would go to buy phone chargers or phone cords 5.55 fort powerblocks and chords of all length. There's a huge selection of art supplies in markers sketchbooks. Amazing for the price that's for sure”

“Everything isn't a dollar any more and that's okay. Inflation happened and Dollar Tree lost. They still sell most of their stuff for a dollar but now that the dam has burst, you'll find stuff for $3 or $4 or $5 in the store. Prices are clearly marked. Greeting cards are still 2 for $1 and that was what I needed this evening when I stopped in. A couple of birthdays and anniversaries are coming up so I got a couple of each. Paying for them was quick and easy. The store is in good condition with most of the merchandise up on the shelves and very few "out of stock" items. “I went to Old Time just to browse the fall decoration selection and upon walking in the thing that caught my attention most was the 25% off Fall and Christmas decor, I was in heaven with how huge the place is and the selection of decorations they have. The prices were not too bad but with the 25% off it made the prices even better, they were savings I could believe in. I was also greeted promptly upon walking to the register and the cashier even came from around the counter to help me get some of my items out of the cart. I only bought Fall decor but believe me I will go back when it's time to decorate for Christmas, they also have furniture, clothing and many other household necessities so if anyone is looking for inexpensive nice things for the house put this on the list.”
“I stopped by save a lot on the river view circle for bread and milk ,I was shocked the store looked incredibly nice in the past ,about 6 months ago I stopped shopping there because food did not look to good especially produce. “I shop DG because there are some food, household, and personal care items that I just don't care to park a football field away at Walmart and trudge through the store to buy the same, virtually the same, or equivalent item at twice the price. So, when I discover I'm out of antiperspirant or shave cream I head to DG, park in front of the store, grab what I want, and I'm out in a jiffy. This location also has refrigerated and frozen foods.”

“I was just in the Overland store on Woodson, and I was greeted extremely pleasantly by the cashier on duty. Once I got my items to the check-out, she continued to be extremely friendly and even complimented me on my hat. She did drop my milk, but having worked both the dairy dept. and registers at a chain grocer on the east coast,- all I could do is laugh. I wanted to get her name so I could place it here in the review. I was hoping it was on the receipt, but I have social anxiety, so I was unable to get it off her tag.Give this employee a raise!Making customers feel special is not an easy task, and it's good indicator why self-checkouts are becoming universally despised. You can't get service like that with a kiosk.”
