“I had a wonderful time at the Beto O'Rourke event that The Novel Neighbor hosted. It was very well organized, and all the staff were so friendly! I didn't need to buy a book, but those who were were able to do so easily. I had some time to poke around the store beforehand and got a few goodies. Filled to the brim with books, and also fun gifts and stickers and things. Their Taylor Swift section is top notch!! Easily my favorite local bookstore in STL, I wish I lived closer.”
“Seemed to overemphasize amount of queer stuff, really wanted a more traditional book store. Actually tired of all the political slant at bookstores. Do they really need pride flags and blm.....lets just focus on books and things that unite us please”
“We stopped by this cute bookstore while in Old Saint Charles. It was bigger than we originally realized with a second floor. They have a great selection of books, merch, and cute little gifts for a reader in your life. They host lots of events and their Instagram is a great place to stay up to date on book launches. You might be surprised at the wide selection of guests they host monthly! A cute little gem to visit.”
“Wonderful local bookstore in Clayton, MO. The staff were friendly. Wide selection of books. And had a Photo Booth to take pictures of your books (we’ll come back to do that later).”
“I absolutely love Barnes and Nobles in general but In the STL area this one is my favorite! They always have a ton of manga and they keep their toys and merchandise in stock! On top of everything the people that work there are super sweet and they have a nice sit down cafe where you can do some work if need be! If you were looking for a book to read or just browse I would highly recommend this store!”
“A smallish, carefully curated bookstore! A place to browse and discovery wonderful books. A perfect selection of children's books, local interest and nature-lover's titles. I found two books I'd never heard of, and could scarcely walk across the street to me car without starting to read! (There's a large, free, public parking lot in back, btw). What a great find in (downtown?) Webster Groves!!”
“If you love to read...books,magazines, fiction, nonfiction, history, celebrities, biographies...Barnes and Noble has it. It's a clean and comfortable store with several areas where you can sit and peruse anything they sell. Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are competitive. A great store for book lovers!”
“Love Barnes and Noble. Large selection of books and games makes it a go to shopping destination for me. Took away one star because often the front desk/checkout is understaffed and this come across as the staff being a bit flustered and not as friendly as when they have more workers. Also the scattering of books on tables sometimes makes it harder to find what I'm looking for if it is not also in the genere/section.”
“A great place to find books. They always have something I want at decent prices. I'm not a big fan of the bag-free change, but each to their own. Make sure to check the clearance rack in the back left of the store, there's always a few good finds to be had.”
“While our particular Half Price Books outlet here described their on hand DVD copy of 1977's "Kentucky Fried Movie" for being in 'very good' condition --I'll top them one further about standout disc itself looks as though brand new!! With a few second-rate affiliate exceptions(and trust me,those applicable were railed against over such),this North American chain store[19 states]altogether progresses stellar reputable;I can shamelessly vouch that they are the buyer's go-to.”
“I have always loved Half Price Books since I discovered one in Dallas Texas. I was so happy when they opened this location in University City, MO. They have a great combination of new and used books for a low price.”

“The STL area is so lucky to have The Book House! It is such a charming space--two entire stories of books, complete with shop cats! (What more could a book lover ask for?) The Book House is a great place to linger and explore--it has a really warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere (with huge shelves, books stacked on every available surface, it basically looks like every charming indie bookshop you see in movies.) They have a wonderful mix of new, used, and special edition books, and a nice selection dedicated specifically to STL-focused books. They also do a nice of spotlighting local authors, which is a welcome addition. I would say their on-ground selection skews more towards new books than used ones, but their small, dedicated used book section has lots of treasures, there are used books to be found throughout, and their online site also offers a lot of options in a range of price points. A delightful indie bookstore which is a cozy, welcoming place to spend an afternoon!”
“I have stopped in to this particular Reading Room several times over the course of 25 years - and several times in just the past few months. Each attendant has been warm and welcoming - delighted to share information in an easy, non-proselytizing way and equally as delighted to learn about you.”
“I popped in to grab snacks. I found the ones I wanted and there was a good selection of sweet and savory. The staff was friendly and quick. There is also stationary, electronics and books.”

9261 Dielman Industrial Dr, St. Louis“I ordered through Walmart, but received an email from the companies customer service immediately. I worked with Gage to customize the front cover and back cover. He sent over a proof for me to approve prior to printing the product. I'm across the country in California and the shipping was incredibly fast. The product looks great!! Good quality for the price, very happy with my purchase. I will order directly through them next time I have a need for personalized/custom coloring books.”
“I have to give kudos to the staff at the Webster campus store. I had an issue with my online order, and I called the actual store to resolve the matter. The staff member was amiable and pleasant to speak to and solved the matter over the phone with no problem. Once again, thank you so much. Also, it was effortless to place an order on the internet. Great shopping experience!”

332 Leffingwell Ave # 101, Kirkwood“I have been going to Impact Christian book store for years. Books by E.W. Kenyon, Kenneth Having, Kenneth Copeland, Derek Prince, and many others. The staff are very helpful. Great store.”
“V-Stock is a go to place for me and my family. They have just about anything for my gaming and manga needs. They also have a ton of magic and other card games and of course a plethora of other cool collectibles, movies, comics, games and more!”
“Such a beautiful campus. My son is attending college prep classes here and their staff are just incredible. I hope he decides to study here after college. The university campus book shop is filled with every essential thing they could need being away from home and then some! The track and field are just gorgeous. The cafeteria is just beyond amazing!”

304 S Main St, St Charles“Google Maps should really consider a different business label than a “metaphysical store”. To some of us, the enchanted aspects of life are so real! My favorite things to buy from this store are the sun catchers! Some of the ones I’ve bought are shown, but the Enchanted Attic feels so peacefully whimsical! I lost my step father and grandma within two months of each other, but I feel their fairy spirits with me frequently. That feeling is only amplified in this store with the gemstones, incenses, dream catches, candles, and everything wonderful within! The free gifts though-always an incense-are nice to get, although it is personal preferences. I don’t personally burn incenses due to my asthma and smoke, but they still smell divine sitting unburned! If you’re not into the fairy-magic end of things, they also sell canvas bags. So they truly have something for everyone!”

80 W County Center, St. Louis“Our niece wanted a specific game and Go! was the ONLY place in St. Louis. The team there was helpful, holding one for us until I visited two days later. The store has a fantastic variety of games for the entire family, and many other calendars and toys, too. On a Christmas shopping visit, it was almost too much to take in at once... but that's a great variety to pick from. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll visit again!”

139 W County Center Space 1065, Des Peres“Wonderfully helpful. I’m a collector of interesting and imaginative toys that I can gift to my grandchildren. Amanda was particularly helpful and came up with lots of information I didn’t know. Staff is very entrepreneurial.”
“The MBU bookstore has everything you need for class. Stop by and take a look at the great selection of merchandise and get the required essentials for class and studying.”

209 S Kingshighway St, St Charles“Staff was kind, prices are high, inventory levels were good. Shopped for spirit wear, not books, so can't speak to the bookstore portion of it. Found something for everyone in our family and they even had decent inventory on mark downs.”
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
113 West County Center, Des Peres“The staff here are always accommodating, accurate, and efficient. Other reviewers seem unaware that this is merely a cafe that SERVES Starbucks coffee, not a Starbucks. It's not their fault they can't take your gift cards.”
“If you are looking for popular Christian books, you should be able to find some here. It is a church bookstore, not a full-fledged bookstore, so you won't find thousands of titles. Prices are decent and there are always reduced priced books available.”
