This is a really great store with great customer service. I went in yesterday for screws to help fix my broken chair and after explaining my situation I was assisted by Austin who took the time to help me find the screws needed to fix my chair. He was very professional and very helpful. My shopping experience here was successful and easy.

Starting expectations post covid is that all customer service is terrible. With that being said the lack of inventory compared to what's available in store while are their website is an absolute joke. When you go in for a specific item that's listed "available for pick up immediately" and you find borderline baron shelves. Then when addressing the staff to help see if the items are in the back you have to wade through 1 front desk associate so high he can barely talk, 1 possible manager yelling at another customer and simultaneously cutting himself on a chainsaw blade and finally 1 decent employee 3 people deep because his peers are useless.
We left after 20 minutes of being ignored. Why market yourself for customer service compared to a big box store but fall short in every way possible?

Some gutter pieces were marked down but when I went to pay I was charged way more than the marked price by about 4 times

This Ace hardware is very close to my house but that's not the reason why I go there I go there because of customer service yeah like the good old days as soon as you walk in the door somebody says hello to you welcome you walk down and I'll if you look confused a worker will come up and say hi how can I help you good old fashioned customer service
