So over the holiday Weekend my Car just dies driving down the road shuts off completely. Shifts itself into park while i was driving. I have it towed to Don Vance the nearest Ford Dealership thinking it is the transmission which is under warranty. At this point they have it for 7 days with no word I call on the 8th they promise to look at it call back shortly after its running they had not found anything wrong but had unassembled and cleaned so wire connections. If I have problems in the next 30 days they would bring it back and look at it again. 2 weeks Go by and I am taking My 75 year old mom and my physically disabled sister to the airport and the car does the same thing. I am able to uber my family to the airport and call Don Vance to come get the car and at that point they told me if i was closer they would but they could not tow from so far away. I pay to have it towed an hour so they could finish fixing it and even discuss with My attaché Taylor there was a huge forum on ford about what it could be. They come back with a diagnostic saying its the entire Fuse box and ground bar it would be 800 to fix I was like high but ok. I ask for the old parts so i could follow up and see. Everything is good. After about 2 hours Taylor calls me back Frantically he had mis quoted me they would have to replace the entire electrical and it would be almost 3 grand. I decline and have it towed to another Reputable Local shop and they hook it up to their computer and with 2 hours have a fault error code and replace the front bus fuse. So did they know it was just a 15 dollar fuse and they were going to charge me 800 dollars and just change the fuse or are they really incompetent . I know Customer service died long ago but when business try and take advantage of older disabled people. It took the other shop 2 weeks to get my car in and i needed a car to get to work so this forced me to buy a new car that is nice but did i really need to spend the money on a new car when they could of just replaced a fuse.
And Its funny I have already went to their website and sent them emails directly and gotten no response at all. But know that I post here they are like if you send us an email we will get back to you. No they are just trying to save face and make it look like they care because it was posted where others could see.

The buying process went well. My only complaint is about a few defects in the truck, the most significant of which are related to the hood and the tailgate. Both are misaligned and need to be realigned at Ford's expense. I pointed out the hood misalignment to the salesman, Josh O'Quinn, when I inspected the truck at the dealership the day that I took it home. He conferred with a service technician who told him, "Ford makes millions of these trucks and you'll have to take it to a body shop to get that fixed." Really?! Josh and the service tech. need to be taught NOT to say such an absurd thing. I spoke to a truck modification company owner the next day. He said the hood can and should be easily fixed by the dealership or a body shop with which the dealership does business.
There is a scratch on the inside plastic cover of the rear, driver's side door. And the front, passenger side speaker cover in the door is flawed. Vehicles that cost what this cost should NOT have such defects or dealerships should fix them when the vehicle is delivered.
8/18/24: No one from Don Vance Ford has called to talk to me, notwithstanding an email that I sent to Michael Barker the day after he posted his reply to my review. Sad.

I recently purchased a new truck at Don Vance. On a Monday I test drove it and put a deposit down. Would set up closing asap. The following Thursday (3days later) I showed up for closing paperwork to pick up truck and my salesman Josh O’quinn shows up and the first thing he hands me to sign is a disclaimer form saying the truck had some minor hail damage and it was fixed and I needed to be aware of this. REALLY! 3 days earlier before I put the deposit down I should have been told this. Josh you need to be up front and transparent with customers about the products you sell. Also don’t tell a customer anything that isn’t true and don’t make any promises that you don’t intend to keep.

Michael Hartman was a great sales rep, with no hesitation in getting me any informational paperwork I asked for about the used 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 I was looking at. I’m giving 2 stars due to the lack of transparency and integrity of Don Vance Ford. When I asked for a full inspection report from when they got the vehicle it had items listed that they checked and also fixed. During the test drive multiple lights came on including a flashing check engine light. I took it to my local trusted mechanic to take a look. And I’m glad I did. There were a few things that would need to be fixed immediately before I could even drive it due to the states safety regulations test. Other items Don Vance claimed to have fixed were done poorly like replacing the oil pan which the mechanic told me was installed incorrectly and leaking excessively. In my opinion it seems as though Don Vance sped through and did the bare minimum, to get the truck presentable enough to try and sell. Horrible. I’m glad I did my research and got a second look at the vehicle. Saved me from throwing 10k down the drain. I highly encourage others as well to do your research and speak up for yourselves.

I came from out of state and called ahead of time so that they could get what’s needed beforehand. I needed recalls done and they got them all squared away. The staff were all very friendly and knew what they were doing. My car was taken care of in a timely manner. I am thankful for their time and work.

At 10:30 they were called and asked to send proof of purchase price to the bank, they were called twice after.
at 2:30 when called they said it was being test drove and couldn't sell it until they found out if they were going to buy it.
I told them they would have already had the money if they had sent the paperwork.
The guy decided not to buy it. They finally sent the paperwork to the bank and as I'm getting ready to sign the loan they called and said the guy changed his mind.
So they sold it to him after I said I wanted it TWICE!!!
