My father, a former mechanic at this same location 40 years ago, was equally impressed with their diagnostic approach and thorough explanations. When I needed a bushing replacement (spotted by a Walmart automotive friend), they completed the serious chassis repair within an hour for just $40, despite me bringing my own part from Napa.
On a return visit for a tune-up, Paul replaced three spark plugs and wires, showing me the old parts and explaining everything. Their 3-month free check engine light warranty provides great peace of mind. Their familiarity with my Ford Ranger and its specific codes is invaluable for my delivery business.

“Really great place. Fast, efficient and very fairly priced. My car broke down on i-70 on my way from Columbia to Kansas City. They were the best reviewed and closest auto shop to mile makrer 76. We towed the car and dropped it off over night. Called the next day. Just a few hours later they called back with a diagnoses and how they were going to fix it. Told me once parts came in, it should be ready the next day. By lunch the next day I had gotten a call saying its done and ready for pickup. They had replaced the wheel bearing, hub, and ABS/TCS sensors. The parts weren't cheap (as expected) but the labor was under $100! I picked the car up that evening. Overall an amazing experince. If I'm ever stranded on i-70 again I will definitely go to Thurman's!”
