Stopped in a couple of weeks ago. Multiple employees “working” (standing around talking - one was apparently the manager) and no one at the checkout counter. They were forcing everyone to use self checkout. I work 12+ hours a day. I don’t get paid to work at Dollar General after that 12 hour day so I will not be going here again to try to fight with a self checkout they isn’t working because the manager and employees want to get paid to do nothing. Go to the one in Patton - everyone at that store is always helpful and someone is always monitoring checkout.

This store is always dirty. Product is always on carts ready to be put away. Carts block aisle continually. Rarely anyone at check out. Employees yell across the store to let each other know when a customer is at the counter. Today two employees were standing directly in entrace way smoking. I had to sit in my car until they cleared the entrance because I am algeric to smoke. Employees are constantly at doorway smoking.

Love Dollar General stores. You can't beat their prices! Their digital coupons are awesome and help you save even more money. The staff at this location is always friendly and ready to help you with anything you may need.

Prices are never on the correct product. You have to search for the correct product and match prices. Customer service is usually horrible. A few of the employees have the worst service I've ever seen. (Especially the younger short red head) As far as inventory, they are constantly out of alot of items and shelves aren't fronted so you have to stand on the bottom shelf to reach a product on the top shelf in the back. Always messy, inside and out. Only have 1 checker even with 10+ people in line. I will say they do have 2 employees that actually put effort in to bettering the place, dont know their names but 1 is a dark haired male and 1 is a blonde haired female. I would recommend getting a GM down there to straighten the location out and hire new/more employees. I very rarely leave reviews. But seeing how this store is necessary for this small town, it's worth bettering it for the community.
