Very long wait time. Best to just drop your vehicle off vs waiting. I researched ahead of time if headlight restoration was a service that was offered (which it is) but was told by one of the employees that is wasn’t. Resulting in only 1/3 services being completed.

I came in for an oil change and a free tire rotation. I dropped my car off at the appointment time and it was ready by close on Saturday. My only critique would be that the mechanic forgot to put a paper mat down so now I have a dirty car mat. Please don’t forget next time. Thanks Dobbs!

Probably my fault but I brought my truck in to have the Freon tested, the level was fine. I was quoted around 65$. They told me that the compressor was bad and that it would not cycle. I asked if they would just remove all the Freon. And I would replace the compressor. I do almost everything myself. They said they would. Thinking about it, I realized that the compressor may still be ok, as because it did cycle changing the pressure at different speeds and the air is cooler than the ambient air. So I called and asked if the could just put Freon back in. I was also worried about the compressor running without oil. I was informed at the counter that the oil stays in the system when the Freon is removed. I also was charged for the recharge which totaled well over 300$. My bad, but was not told how much this would be. If I had I would have bought an after market compressor and installed it then have it recharged. Now I am solidly down 320.00$ my truck is the same as when I drove it in and a diagnostic that I can not believe whole heartedly believe. I have been to Dobbs many times for tires, and they are great. I am hoping this is one off.

My tire was flat in the morning of a crazy rainy day. Firestone showed me the door and rudely asked to pull my car away while it is raining cats and dogs. Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers asked me to wait but eventually before the evening they were able to spot the nail. since it was close to the edge I had to purchase a new tire relacing my less than 1 year old tire but I was out by 4 PM. During my wait, I have enjoyed free coffee and restroom. There is a chicken fry place across the road where I had a nice chicken dish with two beers. Thanks for not throwing me out and fixing my tire.. ;))

Great service I was able to get my car repaired the same day at a reasonable price. I scheduled my appointment online, they got me an estimate within an hour letting know what the issue was. So glad it didn’t take forever since time is very limited on my end.Issue was the exhaust had gone bad and needed to be replaced I didn’t realize how noisy my car had gotten over the years but it just kept getting louder. Now my car is so quiet after getting the exhaust replaced.

I’ve been there x3 & have had good experiences each time. They were professional and explained everything that was done to my car!! I’ve been very satisfied with their service! The receptionist is also very friendly & helpful which also helps.

Not a great experience. 2.5 hours to tell me the tire could not be repaired. And if i hadnt asked what was goong on. That would have been longer. Ok fine. Sell me a tire.
Sir the one you have is s cheap one. Would you like to upgrade. Well, what are my options? Oh we dont have yours here

I mean you cant make this up. Actual delivery time was an additional hour.

The staff at this Dobbs was amazing. They fit me in last minute before a road trip when I got a flat tire. They patched it up and had me good to go. They were awesome!

I had an emergency flat tire on the interstate...in the rain! This was my closest tire place, so I chose it. The receptionist was short with me from the beginning and never treated me kindly. I explained what had happened and she showed NO empathy! Not even a smile. She simply said "We are very busy. I can't tell you how long it will take." She didn't mention waiting room, or that this was a lovely area of Maplewood with shops and cafes. I did discover these after leaving (after sitting in the waiting room). I had lunch, shopped and even had a pedicure nearby.
The store did not call me with an estimate, simply put on a new tire. If they had, I probably would have bought four new ones because mine have 40,000 miles on them. So...I'll go to a friendlier place for 3 more. The manager was just a step more pleasant than the receptionist, but not much, btw.
No recommendations from me. But, I will say the tire price was good, thus 3 stars. Otherwise, I would have given only two.
