“My daughter is in this school and I have really noticed how her education has improved in all aspects, the teachers are very polite and very kind, I am very satisfied ?.”
“A friend was trying to convince me to have faith the other day. I was absolutley sure it was impossible that ive seen to much to disprove his existence. Then she said Not to sound any way except sincere, you've met me... But you should give Jesus a try ? what do you have to lose? If you were to pray and ask hlHim to reveal himself to you, He will. He literally died (not wanting to) for us before we were a thought. Cry out, scream, cuss him, ask questions, whatever He'll accept it! So i was having a bad day i decided to try it. I prayed for him to reveal himself. The next day my father kivked me out of his truck. 15 miles from home. My mom who is now separayed from him wouldnt come get me. I walked for an hour i sat out front a dollar tree with no food water. This lady asked if i was homeless i said no but not far from it. Then she comes back with a back pack full of oddly specific note cards and items i need. Then i suddenly had the chills now almost 32 i believe their is a god. Without this back pack i feel i would not have been able to walk home thank you fir giving me faith godbless”
“Attended a funeral and even the occasion was difficult this is a very loving group of parishioners and a very nice Pastor. And the interior is absolutely flawless. I will return for a worship service in the near future.”
“Here only for the fish fry. They’re ranked number 1 for a reason: they have the order process, lines and so forth all down to a science. You can pay with cash or credit. 2023 season they had quite a few choices for your main meat choice (3 kinds of fish, shrimp, etc). The sides are all great. I recommend the Mac n cheese. Dessert is included and the selections vary but tend to include some awesome selections.”
“I LOVE my church,(St. Louis Dream Center). I love my Pastor (Rick Washington and first lady). I love the pastors teaching, he preach/ teach in a way that I can understand his message, he's the BOMB. Keep up the good work/ preaching pastor. I really, really enjoy coming to church every Sunday with my best friend who I was able to spread the word of my father and she wanted to come and join the church and here the word/ messages from the pastor and I be geared up when the time is close for us to go/ come to church, may God bless St. Louis Dream Center and it's members and visitors, LOVE Sharon Applewhite.”
“A center of Buddhist community with highest reverence to the way of Buddha, and a place of meditation and peaceful life. The monastery is always welcome to all. This is a wholesome place of worship where one can truly find his and her own sanctuary for oneself. Highly recommend for the visit and exploring.”
“Safe place to explore what the Lord has set before you. A place to start..a place to grow in the Knowledge of the Father, His only son Jesus,And the Holy Spirit who lives in us!!!Continue spreading the Good News!!!Jesus Lives!!!”
“The staff are all awesome, and the parishioners welcome you when you attend, whether it be for service or one of the many activities that they have going. I loved attending the Tuesday Morning Life Group and the Young at Heart Group, but unfortunately, Covid stopped it from meeting. There are other groups that meet. I watch their service online currently because I am a full-time caregiver and can't get to church right now. I am also a prayer warrior, and you can ask for prayers, and they would be more than happy to say them for you. I would recommend this church!!”

“I came to Lafayette Park Methodist about five months ago. From the second I walked in, the pastors and congregation made me feel welcome.I appreciate the church's dedication to service in the local community and abroad.Recommended for anyone new to St. Louis looking for a church to visit.”
“I was there for an electronics recycling drive they were sponsoring. It was pretty well organized, very easy to get my stuff unloaded. Workers were very helpful.”
“A place where Jesus is preached and the Bible is taught. This church is involved in the community and is a church for EVERY member of the family to feel welcome in.Special needs inclusive with a sensory room and workers to love on your littles to single mom groups, amazing women’s ministry and generally a place you don’t ever have to feel alone.”
“Beautiful Church, friendly people. Attended Christmas Eve service about 90% full, wonderful many Christmas carols. Our grandchildren attend the preschool there where they do a wonderful job..”
“My fencing school has been working with Centenary United Methodist Church to utilize their space on the weekends for training. They have been nothing but helpful and generous with us. Letting us use the space to train and practice what we love! Thank you!”
“All three of my children attend Salem and we love it. We have been with the school and church for the past 7 years. The small family vibe is like nothing I’ve ever experienced anywhere else. The staff is amazing. I could go on for days about how much I love this school! Highly recommended!”
“Now that services are settled in at the Shrewsbury location, we experience a raising of consciousness and a place to share our universal love with others. Really enjoy the time here with laughter and thoughtful lessons.”
“This church is the real deal! It’s a spirit-led, loving, friendly, Bible sharing church that feels more like family than anything. The pastors are all about real life and tell the truth of the Word of God in a relatable way. No one is left out, as new people are welcomed warmly- they genuinely want to know you! Ever since they switched to the 9:00 and 10:45 services, I can come well-rested and ready to praise God with modern praise songs. My small group here knows and loves each other and I look forward to it every week. You can wear casual or dressy clothing and no one is judging you; they’re just happy to praise God with you. It’s diverse and somehow so many different people get each other and love each other like Jesus. I have learned so much here, and the pastors are funny at times, while sharing what God says in the Bible. Do yourself a favor and come check it out.”

1971 Dougherty Ferry Rd, St. Louis“I'm highly amused that St Gerard Majella's fish fry, which only happens once a year for like 5 weeks during Lent, has a Yelp site. But I'm also thankful that someone created one. I'm not a St. Louis native and don't understand all the hype surrounding fish fries. Well, now I know. I came here last Friday at 5:10pm (they opened their doors at 4:30), the first week of their fish fry, with the naïve thought that I was "early". I fully intended to use their order-online-and-pick-up-curbside but 30 minutes after they opened, their website shut down/broke and it said they weren't taking any more orders. I told my husband I would be home in 20 minutes. 1 HOUR LATER, I finally left with my carryout food and wondered if the food would be worth this crazy long drive-through wait. The church staff told me that the line would likely be shorter after 6:30pm...but when I left, the line of cars waiting on Dougherty Ferry Road was the same length as it was at 5:10pm. When you arrive in your car, you enter the drive through line from Dougherty Ferry Road, and exit on Ballas. Apparently people started lining up at 4:00pm. I asked if parking and walking in to do carry-out was faster, but the lines were apparently also long inside. They take cash and credit card. As you inch along the drive through, they also sell Ted Drewes ($3 each, about 1 cup size), drinks/beer, give you free tartar sauce or cocktail sauce, then give you a number to place on your dashboard so they can direct you into 2 lanes, then merge you into 1 lane, and then you order your food, pay, and pick up the food. I tried the fried cod adult dinner, which comes with 2 pieces of fried cod, hush puppies (or a roll), 2 sides, and a packaged cookie or brownie. The cole slaw was my favorite side--fresh, vinegar-y, and a nice contrast to the fried seafood. I also tried the fried shrimp, French fries, and mac and cheese. The fried cod was my favorite--nicely breaded, not overly greasy, well-seasoned, and nice and hot even after I took it home to eat. Hush puppies left something to be desired---the cornbread inside was dry and the exterior breading too hard/crunchy. But still, tasty. So my first fish fry experience was delicious, but I don't think I will be waiting an hour again in the drive thru line again just to get the fried fish.”
“This church will change your life! The people are wonderful and pastor Mark is amazing person. Even after moving away from the area I still feel a connection with him and the church. He was a tremendous influence on myself and my children. We still communicate to this day. I would highly recommend coming by and checking it out if you’re looking for a new church home or just wanting to find a way to reconnect with Christ. Great people and a wonderful atmosphere!”

“I had quit coming to this church several years ago and decided to give them another try recently. I was pleasantly surprised and they are back to teaching biblical messages. The Good Friday service was unbelievable. The music is wonderful and the singers are outstanding.”
“I have never felt so welcomed until I walked into this congregation. They are the warmest and most welcoming church I have ever been too. They love everyone no mater the journey they are on. I highly recommend this church.”
