Amazing day , lots of plants, flowers and vegetables. Seed packets on sale, mums and lots of vendors of all kinds. A restaurant at the top of the hill and food trucks available. Live music at different times and places A huge crowd was there today.
They have this twice a year Spring and fall

I ordered Giant Rattle Breadseed seeds and I don't know what it is that they sent me. I tried Google lens and it says that it is spiny lettuce or milk thistle. All I know is that they are not the seeds I ordered.

I went today for the first time. I was amazed at the many different varieties of seeds , most I've never heard of. There was a lot of jams, jellys, sauces, etc. Teas, coffee , apparel and other things. The village and buildings that they created to walk around are very interesting , nice and some decor is funny because it's meant to be (like in the jail). The grounds are absolutely beautiful ?. Loved my visit. I would recommend everyone to make a trip to see it if you are into that type of thing or environment.

No issues with products. If you look at one item on their website, Bakers Creek will pop up everywhere online. And I mean everywhere. You will be sent numerous emails "reminding " you, you looked at the product along with pop-up advertising on your social media, etc. No more will I order from Bakers Creek Heirloom Seeds. I'll be gathering my seeds from smaller, less invasive companies. It was good till it wasn't.

They do not share details of the plants! If you are looking for short zinnias, you won't be able to figure it out since they refuse to offer the height information. I emailed to ask why, they said "we sell all over the world and stuff grows to different heights"...say what?! I emailed again assuming this was a made up answer and the person said "you can call and ask us". How do I shop online for a bunch of different seeds and have to make a call everytime I want to know the height? This year I have varieties of marigolds that are 12" and some 36", wouldn't it be helpful to know this informaiton? And maybe print it consistently under "info" so it is not necessary to search high and low for very basic information offered by other companies?

We were here in mid-July and had the best time. The restaurant food was fantastic. The normal waitress was out sick and the replacement was from the accounting office and the warehouse. Both were great and just made us feel at home. Above that, the manager of the seed store used to be the director of the on-site gardens. I could listen to him talk all day. So full of knowledge!! When I made my selections I asked him to review to ensure I had the right products based on my zone and area. He educated me and changed my onion seeds to ensure I would be happy with the results.
I have talked about nothing else for the last two weeks as we had such a great time! Thank you for helping me ring in my birthday correctly! :D
