For over twenty-years my cats and dogs have received the best care at the clinic. I feel like the doctors, and all safe are compassionate, knowledgeable, and completely focuses on our pets during clinic visits. Dr. Bender has treated our five cats and three dogs. I would not take my precious pets anywhere else.

We've been bringing our dogs here for decades. Dr. Steinberg has saved more than one life in our family, and we are forever grateful. He would call after hours to check on the dogs and even gave us his home phone number. He most recently correctly diagnosed Cushings disease in our 10 year old dog.Dr. Dolan performed life-saving surgery on another one of our dogs and gave him 3 more years after we were told by Mizzou that he had an aggressive cancer. Both of them have helped our beloved family members cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Steinberg came to our home once for our dog, who was very nervous, and Dr. Dolan was just with us and our Lacey today to end her suffering.Dr. Bender, the owner, is also very nice. We have seen her a few times but not as much as the others.

This was my second visit here in two years. Others may be okay with them but I just didn't feel comfortable with them. Found someone else I'm happier with.

I started visiting West County Animal Clinic after I relocated to STL for work and the 1st vet I tried in West County told me my dog had lyme disease. I went in for a 2nd opinion because the odds of my dog having contracted lyme disease were next to 0. Sure enough, they ran some more tests and cleared my dog and I didn't end up treating her unnecessarily. I am super grateful for the no frills, common sense approach to working with animals. I also appreciate not having to pay for things we don't need to keep my dog safe and healthy. Good team of folks working at this clinic and I fully recommend them to anyone seeking care for their pets.

Great vet. Staff is great, prices are reasonable and you get in exactly when your time is scheduled. Asked them to clip the nails of my 90 pound dog who hates having his nails done. Took 3 of them, but they got them done and kept everyone and the dog from getting hurt

I have never seen an animal clinic so horrible with animals.... it took them three or four times of jabbing a needle in my dogs paw to draw blood by this time.... My dog is obviously very anxious, so there they " had" to wrestle him down so he's getting more anxious while continuing to jab him in the paw... and then they have the audacity to call my dog meme as if any of this is my dogs fault..... I'm not sure where they find these people from... but they are absolutely horrible with animals. I am definitely never coming here again ...never.

Dr. Bender and everyone at West County Animal Clinic are amazing! I have referred several friends and family members to this practice, with outstanding results. The professionalism, knowledge, and care my pets have received are the best I've ever experienced.

Horrible clinic. Took my sick cat in. Was told she had to spend the night and the bill would be around 200 dollars. Got a call the next morning and a doctor called saying she could stay till the end of the day to receive fluids. Went to pick her up Never saw a doctor and techs said she was fine. Paid over 700 dollars only to find out she was sicker than when we brought her in. Dr.Stacy Bender was rude and did not address my concerns. This clinic is totally incompetent. Very bad experience

I moved to West County 3.5 years ago and needed a vet for my two German Shepherds. We were lucky enough to find West County Animal Clinic. The Veterinarians here are top notch. I want to point out my interactions with Dr. Dolan. She is a compassionate and patient vet that clearly cares about the animals she treats. I appreciate her willingness to answer questions and follow up after visits I've had. I've gone to many different vets over the last 10 years and West County Animal Clinic definitely stands out! I highly recommend them.
